From time to time I get the sense the same negative Nancy posts here under different names and accounts. The thinking and writing are the same. Arguments the same. Just a hunch.

When one name sours, he logs in under a different name and account and starts the same negative shet he did under the previous name. Orange twang comes to mind.

i've thought the same thing lol, when nobody agrees with them, they just hop onto a different account to make it look like someone does lol

I'm sure there are people with multiple accounts, but you're also more likely to notice the people who disagree with you more than the ones who agree with you.

You are the prototypical beaten down fan.

Loyal

But beaten... you no longer have any real expectations of winning. So you make comments like:

We did not win anything for 20 years... so making the playoffs is great.

Things a beaten down fan says for $200 Alex.
If being happy that we made the playoffs two years in a row when we made it twice in the previous 20 years and wanting to sign a top 10 QB to an extension when all we've clamored for since Marino left was a mere top 15 QB makes you a beaten down fan, then put me in that category. Only one team a year wins the Super Bowl. Some franchises have never won one. The needle pointing up is absolutely a reason for excitement.

I personally view beaten down fans as the ones who constantly complain, and view any season that doesn't result in a SB as a failure and "the same old Dolphins". After 2 decades of mediocrity, moving in the right direction is no small thing. Expecting a SB immediately cause you're sick of losing is asking a bit much.

Sincerely,
An Optimistic 40 year Dolphins Fan

You might think it's an excuse but I see it as a reason.

Typical Dolphins fan for the last 25 years, all doom and gloom and can't notice a good thing right in front of their face.

See, it can go both ways but I'm sure you'll come back with the "I'm just a realist" thing next.

Not a good thing until we win... Simple as that.

No it was more than one person.

You can try to explain it away if you want; But the top receivers were asked and Tua was not their favourite.

I do not care why they did not pick Tua, and I do not know why they picked someone else.

I was pointing out the error of the logic that everyone ate at Bama with Tua and it was not the case with Hurts or Mac Jones. When the star players were asked who their favourite QB was it was Not Tua. End of
Hey Auburn fan..from a Bama alum.
(1) Screw you
(2) you are a liar.
(3)When Waddle and Devonta said that to that reporter during the draft..Mac was about 10' away...they didn't want to hurt Mac's chances at a first round pick...They knew the first time Tua stepped on at Bama..THEY all knew he would be a top five pick.
(4) At four straight A-Day games and fan days..talked to Jeudy,Ruggs,Devonta and Waddle....Guess which QB they said blew them away?...Give you a hint..he wore #13
(5) Waddle was hurt most of the year Mac started at QB..So your telling me he picked the QB he had the smallest sample size with over the one that helped him set records with. (might be to help Mac out
and not disparage him to a reporter while Mac was in the area.
(7) Mac was at Bama for five years..Tua-3 years...If Mac was their preferred QB..how come Mac never came close to to beating Tua out ?..Hell, Mac coudn't beat out Jalan Hurts out.. ( a glorified running back with questionable throwing skills, which he still hasn't improved much...
(8) Today's reporters are pretty much shock jockeys with a agenda...And you took one thing from his agenda because it fit your silly agenda.

I tend to notice writing styles and grammar.

It’s a writer’s signature.

That’s what I tend to notice.

And please do not confuse optimism with being content. While some of us beaten down fans are happy with the last 2 playoff appearances, and are optimistic for the future....I don't believe any fans are content with the results. With the trajectory this team is on, I believe everyone is hoping for and expecting more in the way of playoff results. Just because fans aren't furious that the Dolphins didn't win the SB the last 2 years does not mean they don't want more than what we've seen. They just know that what they've seen and what the organization has done gives them reason for optimism....especially if they can find a way to extend our QB.

When the GM sacrifices the future by over paying people to come here... Trading away years of draft picks to win now... You need to win now.

Despite all of this, we have yet to win a playoff game over the last four years of this rebuild.

The window where the QB is affordable is almost closed and we have cap problems. As of right now this rebuild has been a failure. I was not expecting a SB immediately... This is year 5 for Tua... 4 years in and we are not even a team that can win a playoff game.

The way people here talk they act like Tua is a rookie and we need to be patient so he can show us what he brings to the table... So he can grow and improve. Well this is year 5 and Tua wants 55+ million and he really has not shown us much. I wish more people realised this.

I am not a Bama or an Auburn fan... At all. But you cannot not know about Bama... They are in the news and on Television almost every week.. They make the playoffs always and half of the time they are playing for the national championship.

Again I was not the one who came here with the quote about Tua from Bama.

Someone made mention of Tua at Bama... Saying that when he was there that everyone ate... (More so than the other QBs on the roster.)

I merely pointed out that the top receivers when asked said they preferred Mac over Tua. (They win championships no matter who their QB is.)

And people here could not deal with it.

It's been explained to you over and over why they said what they said yet you continue to ignore it.
