And we get Mike White.Tua is under contract to play the 2024 season, and he must play to earn the $23 million of the 5th year of his rookie contract. If he chooses not to play he receives no money.

A potential contract for Tua is an easy story line for the media to sell, and it would be helpful if the Dolphins put a stop to those stories.Helpful to who?
You?
So you signed up yesterday to bash Tua and remind us he's under contract?A potential contract for Tua is an easy story line for the media to sell, and it would be helpful if the Dolphins put a stop to those stories.
People seem to have forgotten that the team took a financial risk a year ago by exercising their 5th year option for Tua. Or, people are aware that Tua has a contract but think that doesn't matter.
So, to clear the air it would be helpful if Dolphins issued a statement reading 'we honor our contractual obligations and expect our players to do so as well'.
I 100% agree with this. I think Tua needs to realize that his success in the NFL depends on McD and Hill, Waddle and company. He can't do what he is doing for another team. No way no how.
at least he hasn't started a thread advocating a trade for Justin Fields... yetSo you signed up yesterday to bash Tua and remind us he's under contract?
Thank you for the insight.

He will hold out.It would be helpful if the Dolphins issued a statement that for the 2024 season the team exercised the 5th year option of Tua's rookie contract and and that any discussion of a new contract should happen after the conclusion of the 2024 season.
I don't see Tua holding out and I don't think the Fins let it come to that.He will hold out.
I'd put money on it. He's seen guys drafted the year after him, who arnt any better than Blake Bortles get paid and he's supposed to risk injury.
He should hold out.

I don't see it getting that far either, but if it did and i was his friend/agent/family member, I'd tell him to demand a trade or hold out at the very least.I don't
