How is that building it FOR Tua?

He can do it yes, but do you think Tua says "Give me less time to throw the ball" ?

If you have a QB that you are concerned about getting injured, do you spend less money on the oline?

Just because he CAN do something doesnt mean that he should always do it. And it CERTAINLY is not build for his benefit.

And you know to say that the offense is completely built around 1 look, 1 quick option ...or chaos... is not smart to say the least... and will get dominated when competent DCs come around with that tecmo bowl offense.

You can pull it off a season or 2 because you haven't built the oline yet... but after awhile you must adjust it.

Find a stop gap veteran that's undervalued, which McD sees the potential to work with until they draft their guy. There will be options available... may not be as successful as Tua initially but I'm trusting the timeline will unfold for the team's highest. No fear of the unknown without Tua... fans may be pleasantly surprised with how this unfolds
Lol best chance this team has had in awhile and you wanna throw it all away for a maybe .. pathetic .

What? Tua’s most elite trait is his quick release, timing and anticipation which makes oline less important. It was built for Tua…
That's grasping at the illogical there, brother.

If that's truly the belief, it's flawed. It's great to have that as a tool in the tool chest, but if that's the only tool, the offense is limited and will be exposed as ineffective against very good defenses.

At some point a QB has to have time to stand in the pocket, go through progressions and allow route combos to develop.

This read the defense presnap, pick a receiver and throw to a spot will not get us a Championship if that's the entirety of our repertoire.

Exactly. 👍

The years 2000-2019 would like to say hello.

That's correct. It is very limiting. Tua had some of the most time he had all season the two times vs the Chiefs and the offense was shutdown.

Precisely, thank you!

I'll add this: If the Fins went out and spent 40 million on the oline and drafted interior oline guys, I'd lean more towards management on the contract issue.

Instead they gave him a big middle finger and said deal with it.

Im really disappointment in our organization right now.

I think you misunderstood.

My post had nothing to do with Tua whatsoever.

If Tua had time and enough room to set his feet, assuming a good scheme, I believe he would pick teams apart. He is very adept at moving defenders with his eyes and body position.

TUA played every game in 2023. He amassed an NFL-leading 4,624 passing yards with a career-high 29 touchdowns and a 101.1 quarterback rating. What is the issue?
They came in 2nd place in the AFC East. They then lost the only playoff game they played in.

They weren't a bad team. They were a pretty good team until late in the season. Yeah, injuries and all that. Sooner or later, we've got to see Tua when everything isn't stacked against him and we need to see him win when the stakes are high.

Until then... he is a pretty good QB that hasn't gone very far in the post-season.

It sounds like it did considering the sentence after you talk about if Tua had enough time.

"in one post season"...added this for context.

Don't ya know we've already paid our karmic debts during this time? I get it, we're all traumatized from that dry spell, however this doesn't need to instill fear of how the timeline unfolds from here. All will be well
Really. Now you have my interest. Do bless us with your bowling ball outlook when you have a moment of clarity lol
