You were right the first time...God in cleats himself had a losing record against the Bills...one win in the playoffs against them...now look at Dan's record in cold weather...
Now look at what is being said about Tua.

I think the offense adjusted to a line that couldn’t pass block effectively. I don’t think it is designed for single read, get the ball out immediately.
and perhaps to protect the Qb, which is a flawed philosophy imo.

Can’t operate at this level with that intention, it did have success but failed at critical times because the progressions and time weren’t there

I critique Tua and acknowledge shortcomings at times, but the level of mental gymnastics required for some of the things I read here are ........ Baffling? .......... Ludicrous? .........inane?

Not even sure what adjective to use.

Okay let's play...

Tua gets his 55-60 million per.

Hill retires at the end of his contract... Mostert goes away...

What then?

(Assuming that the draft picks do not all pan out.)

Like I asked before

How is the window anything more than this coming season.
Then the GM gets fired? The same as any team in the league really.

The window is more than the coming season as Hill is still under contract for 3 years (but will likely not see the 3rd year) so that's this season and next season. Waddle has just signed an extension. Achane is going to be star, he will make everyone forget about Mostert quickly.

What will close the window shut is not extending Tua, using all the cap next season to just tag him (and have to let good players go because of it) and hoping somethings magically fall into place. This roster and this salary cap structure can't work without a Tua extension. If they aren't extending him then they should be going into tank mode.

There does come a point, though, such as a 1-13 record over 2 years where it becomes a valid topic of discussion.

It's not like it's a "win some, lose some" situation. Sure there are several contributing factors, but the basic reality is we haven't done well against top quality teams.
It's definitely an issue but at the same time the schedule hasn't been kind to the Dolphins either. The majority of the "tougher" games have been on the road.

In 2022 it was on the road to Baltimore, Cincinnati, Detroit (who were just starting to turn around), San Francisco, LA Chargers, Buffalo then Buffalo in playoffs.
2023 it was LA Chargers (before people though they sucked), Buffalo, Philadelphia, KC (in Germany), Baltimore then KC again.

Really over the last 2 seasons the only "tough" teams they have faced at home have been Buffalo and Dallas and they are 2-1 in those games.

In today's social media world there would be Marino haters everywhere, especially since he never won a Super Bowl, and he was 8-10 in the playoffs over-all.

I dunno bout Marino but this year we are setting the woods on fire 🔥 with multiple playoff wins and maybe a super bowl ring to put the 🍒 on the top

:woot:

You are dead wrong on this.

At Bama we saw Tua go through reads and consistently hit his third option

come on dude.

nope... The difference is that neither of the players you mentioned have ever quite matched Hill... Here or in KC... and the players you mentioned have lost a step and are no longer at the top of their games.

You are not even close to comparing apples to apples man

You keep jumping all over the place.

Let's see your list of top trios

Post it.
The Johnny Burrnett Trio

Tua's not the sharpest tool in the shed, but no. I don't think Tua has the physical ability to take a deep drop, go through progressions and throw as he sees fit, and be elite at it.
He's certainly sharper than you
.he's playing in the nfl and your playing on social media
