I do not want to believe any of this crap from either side... LOL

But I can see the scenario playing out where they were really close to a new deal and then Goff and Lawrence ink... and then Tua and his agent say we want more now because someone else got more.

All of my life I have dealt with people spewing that crap.... They will say... Yeah well so and so got this much money. I always reply... But you are not so and so!!!!

I have allowed and even encouraged a lot of employees to seek other opportunities over the years. When they come at me with that crap I am done respecting them.
 
I mean I will be curious to see what Love gets.

But.. at the same time I will be cringing because if he gets more than Lawrence that will make Tua even more expensive.

These cuts happen just to get in the ballpark, there would be several others and there would be no replacements. There would be no money. Using the tag would gut this team, it has been explained many times to you but keep acting like it’s a smart move

Its because if I tag him its only to trade him, otherwise we sign him because we would believe he is the future @ QB.

If we tag its only a short term transitory and transactional move (trade), vs signing at best a question mark player to mega deal with long term implications.

If you fervent believers in Tua are correct there should be quite the hot market thus a line of teams willing to make a trade.
