I just don't see Lawrence leading the Jaguars to a Superbowl. He's not that accurate of a passer, his mobility is average, and he fumbles when pressured. It's true William, Daniels, or Maye may not be any better, but at least the Jags could have given it a shot for a lot less money than they are paying Lawrence.
You get hung up on money. I get it. Do you think owner not only wants to win but of course sell season ticket. Lawrence good or bad sells season tickets. All those college QBs don't. At least at this point. Welcome to the NFL.

Who says the Dolphins can’t with Tua?
Well, it didn't happen with a loaded roster the past two years. And whether one wants to blame Tua or McDaniel or something else, the back-to-back late season collapses is alarming.
I am ok with giving Tua and McD one more season to prove they can win playoff games, but it would be a mistake for the Dolphins to commit to either one of them longer term.

It depends on what rookie QB's you are talking about. I'm sure Bears and Commanders fans are buying more season tickets with Caleb Williams and Jayden Daniels as their QB's compared to last year. I doubt Drake Maye or JJ McCarthy moves the needle that much though.

Was referring to Jags. Keep up.

I don't know the Jaguars situation but many NFL team tickets are sold out to seat license holders. In other words, no matter how the team performs each year the seat license holders are obligated to buy the season tickets.

No **** Sherlock but then you said all those college QB's don't so that would mean any college QB! You keep up!
You brought up 2 teams that don't have meaningful qb. I was referring to Jags and Lawrence.

True but that isn't NFL reality. Thats just your NFL opinion.
Yes, I am aware that the "NFL reality" is for teams to extend and, or offer new contracts to any QB who has achieved decent stats. My guess is that teams do this because they figure if their QB is not a total embarrassment he is worth keeping. But, that's not a good sense mentality if the goal is to win playoff games and Superbowl (s).

Okay and while we are on the subject of the Jags I bet if they had traded Lawrence to the Bears for the #1 pick and they drafted Caleb Williams the season tickets wouldn't have decreased from that move at all. Most Jags fans would probably see it as a potential long term upgrade at QB. So again it depends on what rookie QB.

Thats true as we all know. NFL owners know the investment is a good one. I'm sure they also want to win. Does changing qb every 4 or 5 years achieve that? Depends on team.
