Awsi....As always your insight is unique and your voice full of reason. Thanks.
haha i see we have created a new spin, from "won 4 playoff games in 3 years", to now being the QB for 6 playoff games, again celebrating losses as your main reason for optimism, spin and dip out for the weekend before anyone realizes, nice move....
Of course you do. You make these "insane Fins fans" look, well, sane. Some of the things you say are just SO off the wall and out in left field that I cant even read them anymore. The fact that you defend Mark Sanchez as a "franchise" quarterback, completely ruins ALL your credibility as a knowledgeable football fan. Again, the FACT (Fact, not opinion) remains that Matt Moore was head and shoulders better than Sanchez or Fitzpatrick last year, but especially Sanchez. To say there is a big "gap" between the Jets and Fins is absurd, BUT then again this is coming from a guy stating Sanchez is "above average". LOL
I remember last year certain people saying you were a complete moron if you didn't bet the over, it was like free money.
first off, wow....you gotta no thanks my post just because of my honest opinion?
Im just saying I dont see where our points are gonna generate from on offense. We traded our best weapon on offense, we brought in a rookie QB whos probably best fit to sit out the gate. We brought a QB that is efficient yes, but isn't exactly known for getting into the endzone. And a re-tooling of the offensive line AGAIN. And our defense is going through a bigger overhaul than people think.
I mean we let go of our leader in the secondary. Whos gonna get our corners and safties lined up? Is it gonna be Vontae, who was suspended for being unaccountable, JUST LAST YEAR? Is it gonna be Sean Smith, who is the LAST person you'd want to follow in the footsteps at the POA. Reshad Jones? who for some reason plays the roamer in the secondary, when he's anything but? I mean we let go of our most consistent DE, and now we're switching schemes?
Look, I understand our schedule is weak. But just last year we all thought we'd beat Denver & Cleveland. We couldn't beat them with all the afore mentioned above. You mean to tell me we can somehow beat them now? Just because our opponents aren't the strongest, doesnt mean thats a check next to their game. Take a look at our roster on paper, and you tell me how many wins they can legitimately get. This team is no where near ready to compete.
In case anyone is noticing, there has already been a huge change in the players mindsets. Yeah, players say stuff every year about this and some of us buy in, but when you see reggie bush huffing and puffing, knowing full well he was the best, most in shape, and prepared player we had last year, telling you this is tough what they are doing right now physically, well, you can chalk that up to at least 9 wins alone. The schedule is not a "cupcake" by any means, but it is also not daunting like starting out the season with two offenses that are tops in the league while being out of shape.
Any of the naysayers cannot deny these facts. Our holes are nearly filled and there is competition up the ying yang other than the G position that I can tell. RT was so bad that we suffered. That problem is solved barring injury.
it depends on what insane, jealous ramblings I see. When I see an insane post mocking the Jets possible playoff chances b/c of our QB I have to correctly point out he's started SIX playoff games.
Either way, 4 wins or 6 games is damn impressive and you guys would be doing cartwheels if we could see that about Miami in a 10 year span let alone a 3 year span.
I love when people bash me for backing Sanchez who has helped us almost make 2 SBs then they back matt moore who has never done anything in this league. Pure comedy.
Jim Kelly started 4 SuperBowl in a row, lost them all, but hey at least he can actually brag about making it there
So now your spin has advanced from, win 4 playoff games, played in 2 afc titles games (losses) started 6 playoff games, to now being helped almost make 2 SBs, whats next? Sanchez lead the Jets to an 8-8 chokejob last year, which is almost a playoff birth, which is almost 3 more playoff wins, which is almost 9 playoff starts, which is almost 3 afc title game losses, which is almost almost 3 Super Bowls, which is almost 3 Super Bowl titles, which almost makes Sanchez a HOF QB.....
There are many positives from the 3 Sanchez years, 2 playoff apps, 4 playoff wins, 6 playoff games,...
He played awful along w/ the rest of the team to help us choke away a playoff spot last year but I'll take 2 of 3 any time and you guys would kill to have the success we have had w/ sanchez as our starter.
yes he had so much success last year, he really proved himself playing terrible fumbling all over the place throwing 3 pics 2 to defensive lineman choking away games, getting ****ed out by his primdonna WR, being the "leader" of the worst locker room in 2011, bringing in the Tebow circus to take 15-20 snaps from him a game, man i wish our QB situation looked that good right now....
helped us win 8 games, more than Miami has had since 2008 so even when he is bad he is still ok.
You do wish your situation looked like ours b/c then you'd have a chance to win.
There's a much better chance Miami wins the next 5 SBs than tebow getting 20 snaps under C(or in shotgun) in a game this year unlesss Sanchez is hurt.
