Vickerson's ACL strained, not torn

Acute Up to four weeks. Consider acute bacterial rhinosinusitis if symptoms worsen after five days, if symptoms persist for 10 days or with symptoms out of proportion to those typically associated with viral infection.
Subacute Four to <12 weeks Same Complete resolution after effective medical therapy.
Recurrent acute Four or more episodes per year with each episode of at least seven days' duration; absence of intervening signs and symptoms

Chronic 12 weeks or more Same Facial pain/pressure does not constitute a suggestive history in the absence of other nasal signs and symptoms

Do I see an Ask FinFanGirl sticky thread coming in the future?

You know your stuff, I wish we had a trainer as well versed as yourself when I was playing. Ours were a little......... well let's just say slow.

Dang... good to have you with us. I am enjoying your insight on these matters. I personally always ignored the time frame I was given for injuries, since I was always released from them early. I do still have one nagging injury that comes back to bite me though.

From what my doctor told me, it is "rigours(sp)" and can not be corrected. From what I understand my left shoulder will continue to crack, creak and so forth. I can live with that. But what I don't understand is the amount of pain I now feel in that shoulder from exstensive use. Granted it only lasts about an hour after extreme use.. but it is still very bothersome.

I have never injured my left shoulder, I am right handed so I never threw it out pitching. I am at a loss as o what is tuelty wrong.

Sorry for my long rant but, I have never found any answers and I am hoping you can lead me in the right direciton.

sorry man i havent heard of rigours -- did he mention something else? i can research it for you ... i certainly can give you some stregnth exercises as well as stabilization type things tho if you are interested.

Sorry, I know what you meant but it still sounds a little funny the way you put that.

I do think a sticky thread for you would be very interesting.

on a side note did you make your subtitle "Athletic Supporter?" and if so, did you do that on purpose, with the double entendre and everything... i find it humorous!

From what I understand it is a natural(in my case accelerated) degrading of the soft tissue around the joint of my shoulder. Form what I understand it will be bone on bone at some point. I don't know if that explaines it enough. I know if I move it in certain ways it almost feels like it is out of joint. If I then move it in certain ways it will eleviate the pain after a certain amount of time... some times almost immediately depending on how tired the muscles are.
