Vikings Officially Contact Dolphins

I doubt Carolina would because of Foster being young. I could see Houston going RB but that's at #13. We could trade from #7 to #12. Maybe if Williams is there SD will trade up?

Foster is injury pron, he has been knocked out of the season 2 out his 4 years in the league, they are not gonna count on him, as well as Davis considering his major injury last season.

I'd take the 7th and 18th overall...then heres what i'd do...Finally get that damn surtain trade done and get that 2nd round pick...then we'd had 2 1sts a 2nd and a 3rd round pick on day 1. I'd look for these guys

This would be a nice day 1...but im kinda hoping on this one cause i doubt shelton will be in the third with philly eyeing him late 2nd!

1. Derrick Johnson LB Texas
1. Thomas Davis S Georgia
2. David Bass G/C Michigan
3. Eric Shelton RB Louisville

Here's my hope
Trade with Minny
Williams is there at #7 so we trade down with SD and get their 2nd rounder plus something minor (4th next year).
Trade Surtain

Then
#12 Caddy
#18 Matt Jones
#46 Chris Spencer
#61 Best available defensive player at safety, LB, or D-Line
#70 Adrian McPherson
Rest of picks go defense

If we can get 7 and 18 I think it's very possible to get Ronnie Brown and Mark Clayton. That would make everybody happy if you ask me, we'd get our stud RB as well as another WR that will help us to spread things out offensively. Besides, how cool would it be to have a WR named Mark Clayton playing for the Miami Dolphins again? :D

Why would you draft Caddy and then the best available RB????

#61 Best available defensive player at safety, LB, or D-Line
#70 Adrian McPherson
Rest of picks go defense

Matt Jones is only worth a pick that high if the team has no glaring needs. Personally, I'd take Alex Barron or Cadillac Williams at the 7 and use the 18 for defense - Possibly Thomas Davis. I then wouldn't argue with Chris Spencer or A-Mac.

LOL, I was gonna say..... Tell ya what...

Swap M.Jones for M.Clayton, and you have yourself the perfect draft ever!

I'd try to trade that 18th overall pick down again if I could to the early 2nd. I'd take Matt Roth there.

Hey Hysterikill......

HysterikiLL's 2005 Final Big Board
(Based on my opinion of talent in this class)
1. 97.9 Ronnie Brown - RB, Auburn
2. 96.9 Braylon Edwards - WR, Michigan
3. 96.0 Alex Smith - QB, Utah
4. 94.3 Pac-Man Jones - CB, West Virginia
5. 93.9 Mike Williams - WR, USC
6. 93.9 Aaron Rodgers - QB, California
7. 93.4 Cedric Benson - RB, Texas
8. 91.6 Erasmus James - DE, Wisconsin
9. 90.8 Alex Barron - OT, Florida State
10. 90.2 Shawne Merriman - DE, Maryland

Does this mean on your draft board Caddy is below a 90.2????

I agree mark clayton in my opinion is the best wr in the draft...but for our system im not sure how well he would do...Matt Jones might be a star here...Here let me change my mock i made...lol

1. Carnell Williams RB Auburn
1. Matt Jones WR Arkansas
2. David Bass G/C Michigan
3. James Butler S Georgia Tech
4. David Greene QB Georgia

Im not sold on Jones, he is a QB switching to WR, no doubt a raw athlete, but how many QB succeed in changing positions? Ill take Clayton anyday over Jones.
