Volek for Feeley???

it doesnt matter who agrees and who doesnt. he did sign an extension but now he doesnt wanna stay and play 2nd to mcnair. or maybe hes just saying that but i pretty much think he and his agent agree that he can start somewhere else. that place is here. so what if he doesnt wanna stay in tennessee? what happens? i dont know either. the titans just signed chris redman a short time ago. the thoughts amusing is all. id rather have volek here than feeley. stranger things have happened. RICKY.

youre all talking about trade value but that still doesnt mean the deal cant be done.
 
OUR FUTURE QB COMES OUT OF NEXT YEARS DRAFT.

saban likes building teams THROUGH THE DRAFT.

maybe not but to rid yourself of feeley and have volek in his place competing with frerotte ... i, for one, would feel better about our QB situation.

i think youre reading my mind: derrius he's cheap. theyre a miserly ownership and other than rookies theyre pretty much hungry at WR.
 
Yeah, we'll trade a guy who might be our #3 QB for a guy who's good enough to start for half of the NFL. Not to mention that the guy will only be backing up Steve McNair for a few more years before he's starting for the Titans.

I think he meant to add Feeley + Derrius to trade for Volek. I still don't see this as a serious trade possibilty.

So your saying AJ and DT for Volek?

That is the most reasonable trade and most common sense scenerio I've heard in a long time. A Qb for a Qb and a Wr that can help their need at that spot on the depth chart.

i mean this is a team with salary cap problems and i think theyre just keeping volek around until shane boyd is ready. boyd's their future QB, not volek. volek wants to start. he knows that the titan future is boyd and so he wants out and he wants to start, being something like 29 or 30 yrs old and that HIS value can diminish. titans sign gimpy redmond as insurance. surely it can happen.

I wasn't aware of the Redmond signing, that right there just furthers me to be drawn to your post that started the thread.

In all honesty, if a move is being talked about it(not saying there is or isn't), do you think the trigger is pulled by either or team pretty quickly? I ask because look at our Qb battle(not going to get into the whole QB riot act...rather just stray from those) and look at the Titans WR problems. Or do you see it being something is more likely to happen into the regular season or offseason.
