DeathStar
Hall Of Famer
mcnair is very injury prone. he is a great insurance policy for them.
last years stats:
10 G, 8 games started, 61.1 % completion, 2486 yards, 18 TDs and 10 ints.
that is pretty damn good. mcnair is running out of gas so volek is their next qb. no way he gets traded with the numbers he put up last year.
he put up great numbers last year and also has a good salary cap friendly deal for the titans. two reason why he goes nowhere.

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=1765827Late Monday night, Steve McNair's backup signed a four-year, $6.8 million contract with an option for a fifth season. It is believed Volek received a substantial signing bonus, though the details were not yet available. The fifth-year option for Volek could turn the deal into a five-year, $12 million contract if the Titans wish to keep him around after the 2007 season
