well...he will turn 30 in May...had season ending groin surgery last season...not sure how much he would contribute at this point in his career to our CB depth especially with the emergence of X, promise of Tank, and the return of Lippett...
Would be nice depth if he comes cheap. I was always pissed Philbin ran him off...don’t expect him to be any sort of savior, but he’d be a nice depth piece for sure.
Team is like the 5th he’s visited so far. I wouldn’t read too much into it.

He has all the red flags we look for in a free agent (which is why we are dreadful in free agency), he will probably get a Timmons style 90% guaranteed contract over a couple of years

Clay Matthews seemed like the obvious pick to me that year, but Miami went with Davis. Just another bad decision by organization.
Davis certainly had a ton of talent, though. He's always been impressive in run support. Maybe he could contribute at safety as others have mentioned.

I mean if its a 1 year prove it deal, I'm all for signing Davis.
X/Davis/McCain/Lippett/Tankersly is a pretty good looking depth chart, at a position where you need depth since injuries inevitably happen.
