It may be time for Mr. Ross to sell the team so we can get someone in here to get this team and its management going in the right direction.

My concern is if the organization keeps having sub par seasons how many Dolphin fans will be left that want to spend there hard earned money on an organization that doesn't have a clue?Ross isn't going to sell this team. Nobody is going to willingly sell the cash cow that is an NFL franchise.
The smart thing to do would to hand off football responsibilities to another person. His hire of Bill Parcells was a good idea in principle but it didn't work because Parcells installed archaic philosophy and poor personnel (Jeff Ireland included). I'm afraid that Ross doesn't know a good person to hire however, since the rumors mill is swirling that top administrative brass want out (Dawn Aponte mainly, but I personally hope Aponte gets the **** out of here like she wants)
The day Jeff Ireland gets fired is the day that change is officially arrived. In the meantime, firing Sherman is the right move, as the guy was a HORRIBLE game planner and play caller.

I just don't want to have an ownership like any of those teams. I think if season ticket sales a major hit this year I think the signal will be sent loud and clear. It's going to take a major attendance and profit drought for a long period of time for that sort of ownership change to be made - i.e. the Jaguars or the Browns with Shad Khan and Jimmy Haslam, but even that's not a guarantee. Here's a factoid for you: William Clay Ford has owned the Lions for 50 years and their record has been woeful.
Meh.
He wasn't the biggest problem and firing him -- while a good move in and of itself -- meant Philbin was more likely to keep his job, which isn't good news.
