How do u not know a trade out was on the table to 27... They are gonna offer the same trade to whoever is on the clock...we could have took it...we passed and I mean look at the teams after us not a tackle need anywhere

Hickey fd it up...after his free agency old and injured signings I said he needs to show me In the draft...only thing he showed me is incompetence
 
Im not hating on the pick.

Im hating on not taking the easy trade down and still grabbing James plus a third.
 
I think you guys are getting a little carried away, the value on the trade was probably fair (even though its poor value according to the trade value chart) but lets not act like Hickey promised your first child away. Of course it looks terrible in hindsight and it looks like we gave away a free third round pick but that is not reality.

I'm not happy with the pick but whining over losing a "free" third round pick is dumb.

(and at least we didn't trade up)

We drafted a guy I think his pass pro is nfl ready...he doesn't give you much down the field or in the run game but at the end of the day you missed out on pick 90 added to your cupboard cause this dudes ass got tight...period

Why does anyone need to be told this? Obviously we had the opportunity to trade down considering two teams directly after us did it. Hickey either didn't know how to answer a phone or was too afraid that he'd miss out on the 5th rated T on his board. Considering no other OL were taken in the 1st, he was ****ing wrong. He played this clumsily. Not a good sign. This is the same incompetent **** we've had to put up with for a long time now.

How many more excuses can you all come up with for Tannehills' mediocrity? First he needs a year at QB. Then he needs more weapons, CHECK. Now he needs an oline.. All Brady/Manning/Rodgers have to do is show up.
 
I'm hoping he kills it tomorrow. Get me a top guard and WR

Manziel in Cleveland will be exciting to watch. The ppl that r saying he is going to be a bust will eat crow. He has that killer instinct , never give up attitude.

Not gonna lie, I've never really watched tape on him in depth. Some questions off the top of my head. You say he is lost downfield, but does he make it to the 2nd level when it is required? I believe with linemen down field blocking awareness can be taught somewhat. How does he do on the cut block or blocking the back side? Also, is he a pillow fighter because he doesn't have the heart or because he just lacks upper body strength? You can't just gain heart and determination but strength can be achieved.
