Amen!!!!!!!!
All anyone has to do is look at the Dolphin defenses between 1970 and 1983.
Bill Arnsparger had two separate stints as defensive coordinator with the Dolphins, the first from 1970-73. He left in 1974 to take the head coaching post with the New York Giants. He re-joined the Dolphins midway through the 1976 season and stayed there until being named the head coach at Louisiana State University in 1984.
Amsparger's defenses ranked first or second in the NFL in nine of his 11 full seasons with the Dolphins, including his final one of 1983, when Miami yielded a league-low 15.6 points per game.
A Marino led offense with an Arnparger led defense would have been good for many SBs.
