Watson was 4 settlements away from becoming a Dolphin. Interesting Quick read...

Look at how the Watson contract is structured, the first year is worth 1 million.
Watson's camp was anticipating some kind of suspension from the league when negotiating with the Browns.
I do agree with you the Browns could very well be just plain stupid.
Fairly standard contract structure. Lots of guys have their first year structured so that the base salary is league minimum and the rest is signing bonus.

Cuts the cap hit to $10M in the first year, as compared to $55M in the other four years of the contract.

What has he been doing to get his massage "fix" since March 2021? If he was doing what he was doing as often as he was doing it, then he must have found another outlet for his habits.

Its 24 now
And with reports that he sought out over a 100 different women (and received massages from at least 66), it may not be over any time soon. Miami dodged a bullet. Any Dolphin fan that was wasting time wishing for this guy should be thanking their lucky stars that it didn't happen.

i've heard that pervs can stop perving for long periods of time if they are forced to.

How did two grand juries find this wasn’t deserving of going to trial?

Albert Breer said on the Pat McAfee show yesterday that he suspects the NFL to make a decision on Watson in July. Florio is saying he believes paid leave (commissioner's exempt list) is back on the table after the 24th lawsuit. At this point, it's not inconceivable that Watson gets the exempt list this upcoming season while the cases are resolved, followed by a stiff suspension the year after.

Miami dodged a bullet and there were A LOT of posters on this board who wanted him as our franchise QB. Trading away multiple 1st round draft picks then giving out the richest contract in NFL history for the right to take this nightmare off the Houston Texans hands is the most Cleveland Browns thing ever.

And they are still clinging to his potential innocence lol.
