We need to deal Marshall for draft picks

This thread is ridiculous. Marshall is a top 10 receiver. You keep those kind of players. Not trade them.

So we create a hole on offense to attempt to fix a hole on defense? I don't understand the logic. If we get a new coach and draft a QB, Marshall will be fine. Who would we have start? Hartline?

I love this theory! Where have you been? The trifecta uses it all the time and it is a favorite of many on this board!

I'd take a second and a fourth, but I doubt anyone would offer much of anything for him.
Now that is funny.....Seriously though trading Marshall away or any player for that matter should always be an option on the table at any point it will greatly enhance your team. However, with that option being exercised your banking on the people holding the cards to have done an appropriate evaluation of both talent going and new talent coming in or to use those extra draft picks accordingly during the draft....we have ZERO of that currently and before we even considered trading away anyone, we had best taken care of cleaning our house out first, starting at the top before handing over the keys to trade in the Ferrari for that Lamborghini, because their liable to return with a Volkswagon for ya!

Absolutely not. Who cares about outbursts. WE ARE 0-3.... If we arent fighting players on the field at this point id say we really arent give up quitting.

Shouldn't be hard to replace him. My sister can drop TD passes. Does he all the sudden stop dropping TD passes once Luck is here?

Top 10 receiver my A$$. Top 10 receivers drop 3 TD's in 3 weeks. Top 10 receivers don't get a personal foul called on them from a 3rd and goal because they get shut down by the Brown's 2nd to 3rd best CB. Top 10 receivers don't get out played in a game by Brain fing Hartline.Top 10 receivers don't make a catch then take them self out of the game for a play or 2 they stay on the field.

Name them...

I discount what he achieves on the field by what he does in the locker room and off the field. I think in a lot of ways he hurts team chemistry, and I'm not a big chemistry guy.

He finished 16th in yards and 61st in TDs last year and add in all the up and coming WRs he might not even be that high.

Considering Hartline, Bess, Gates, Fasano, and our RB's have all plenty of drops already this season, maybe. Or maybe we just need a real WR coach since we've had serious dropping issues since these idiots took over.

He also finished 6th in receptions, 8th in 1st downs and 12th in yards per game last year... he is clearly still one of the best in the game, but obviously needs to work on a few things to get to elite. I personally want that to happen with the Fins and not some other team, the draft picks would probably be worthless with our drafting track record anyway.

Last year Henne played like a JV High Schooler. Our offense was a joke in general, and Marshall STILL had over 1000 yards, even after missing 2 and half games. I would take Andre Johnson, Calvin Johnson, Larry Fitzgerald, and probably Miles Austin over Marshall. That's about it. If people are being truly objective and stop letting their emotions get the best of them, they would see Marshall for what he really is...

So let me get this straight... you want to:

1. Create a hole in the team (which affects this year's performance and next year's draft), in order to
2. Accumulate draft picks of decreasing value (since that team *will* be better with the addition of Marshall), from
3. A group of people desperate to save their jobs?

Yeah, they'll do it alright.

we should have drafted dez bryant and kept our 2 second rounders
