We need to try to sign DeSean Jackson or risk handing him over to the Patriots...

Our focus has to be on building our team, not on preventing any other team, including NE, from getting a player they want. If NE doesn't get Jackson, Brady will throw to someone else ...and it won't matter who because it's still Brady throwing.

The Eagles cut their best receiver even when other teams were interested in a possible trade. They chose no value....over some value just to get rid of him and are also taking a cap hit this year as a result! Who does that without a very good reason??

The silence coming out of the Eagles organization on this issue is deafening. Listen to it....and stay away. Something is seriously wrong with this guy.

They do have a good reason, the upwards to $7 million in cap space freed up. Current staff probably doesn't value him as a $13 million a year receiver.

Anyone who believes this is pretty naive. They laughed on the radio that he walks around the worst neighborhoods untouched, like he's protected in some way. And neighbors say people come and go from his house at all hours, and one day a quarter of a million went missing, along with some firearms. No break in at all! These people coming and going are likely gang members. Who's to say one day things won't go bad ala Hernandez, and his friends kill someone. The fact is, he's had "character issues" from day one, from college, which caused him to fall in the draft. He was a steal at that point, but when you turn around and spit in the face of your team after they hand you a big contract, and not show up at meetings and demand more money, etc...the don't be surprised if you get released. There are plenty of teams NOT interested, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if he ended up with the Jets, like they're saying.
