Well you seem to have forgotten that one rule. If your opinion isn't in line with mine, then you not only have no credibility, but you know nothing about football!! It's a shame but some posters feel this way. Add to this, the anonymity of the internet and you get alot of potential for rude behavior.

I think this team will be much improved but I doubt it will be enough to climb out of the cellar. We have toughest schedule for one. I think too many people are expecting that Hudson Hauck can turn our bumbs into great o lineman (fairytale # 1) Secondly, we have major issues in the secondary. Once again many people think we wont feel the absense of Surtain (fairytale # 2). I think most of you forget we were 31st against the run last year. Some people think Carter and our cast of has beens, never weres, and a rookie will make us a force upfront (fairytale # 3). This is not to mention our problems are qb, and our issues with McMicheal. I think it is irresponsible to be expecting a winning season. These problems will not magically go away. I think saban will be a great coach but these aren't his players and he cant make them more talented than they are.

SXerrat you are such a Homer, and Kenny your team is nothing like the team you fielded in 03, you have no secondary for one, your best LB is getting older and slower, you have a completely different Oline, Dline and QB's. The only things that are the same is Chris Chambers, Randy McMichael and Zach Thomas otherwise its a whoel new football team. If I am wrong please list for me how it is the same team that went 10-6 but couldnt make the playoffs. HOMERS

At least Captain Lou is realistic.
Go away troll or at least stay in the Depths lounge.

I'm a huge fan I've had a tatoo for 10 years now. I love and want the Dolphins to do well. However, we still have alot of work to do. My expectations for this season are low. It doesn't mean I won't watch every play of every game even if were 20 pts down. We will progress but I think we need a couple years to contend.
I am gonna go out on a limb and say we won't be down by 20 at any time this season!

OK, I'm a troll. So what happens if I'm right ? I cant look at the our current situation with personal honesty, and not get crucified. So I guess I'm not a fan if I dont think we'll have a winning season. I'll bet most of you thought we'd have a winning season last year too. I am excited it's football season. I cant wait to watch the fins. I'm just a little more realistic about the situation. FYI, just because you want us to have a great season doesn't make it so. For me I think a great season would be 7-9 or 8-8. I just don't feel were ready to compete for a playoff birth.

Way to go. The bills are always looking for fans and I am sure they would welcome you. We will not finish last in the East, I do not care how negative you are, I am going to be more positive.

Well why didn't you say that in the first place? When you put it in those terms, that's very believable.

But you made it sound like we are destined to go 0-16, the 53 man roster would come down with collective leprosy and the team plane would crash on the way to Canton next month.

I agree, hell last night someone was generous enought to write an honest camp report that wasn't anything other than his observations. He was attacked, I was ashamed. If I was him we would never get my report again.

See em... take em... and put em on yo chin.

#1 BABY!!!!! Miami Dolphins, Miami Dolphins, Miami Dolphins number 1 ... (everybody sing... u know the words!!)

I think going into the season the Phins are the 4th best team in the Afc East. It could all change, injuries happen, if a key player for an division rival goes down, than perhaps the Phins could overtake them. I would rather the Phins be good enough to finish ahead of the other teams with all things equal. I see alot of posts about division titles, playoffs, and I wonder what are those fans gonna do if it does not happen? Is Saban a terrible coach if the team does not make the playoffs? If the Phins were an NFC team they'd contend for the playoffs, but so would the Browns. The Afc is stacked, and I think only one team from the East makes the playoffs, and right now I don't know how anyone could bet against the Patriots. Saban brought in good coaches, but is anyone really that impressed with the talent on the offensive line, defensive tackle is still a major question mark, safety, Qb. 8-8 and Saban should win coach of the year. If people think this is "not being a fan," than I think that they're posts are probably not realistic. 4th in the East would probably be 2nd in any other Afc division besides the North.

The same could be said for the Bills of their losses last year only once were they not in it until the very end. But they blew average and below average team out of the water. How many teams did you beat by more than 10 points last year?

The only above average team the Bills beat was the Jets, IMO.
