Weaknesses Exposed!!!

ill talk about buffalo's weaknesses, since the fins play the bills twice a year.

the bills offense.
basically we all know that McGahee is a very tallented RB and will be the first option because of Losman's inexperience. but no team wants an unballanced offense. and the more losman passes, the better his chances of screwing up. the O-Line is not to bad, but the right side is alot better than the left. the LOT is the weakest O-Lineman, and the LOG is average. while the C, ROG, and ROT will be the strength. i can expect more runs to that side. and runs which involve pulling the C and ROG. good pass rushers from the QBs left side should be able to get consistant pressure on losman. and young QBs make bad decisions under pressure.

while the run will be a strength, you cant forget about the WRs. putting 8 or 9 in the box has its problems. Moulds isnt a bum and Evans is a dangerous deep threat. but they have weaknesses. Moulds can catch anythng that comes his way but has lost some speed over the years, but still requires a double team. and you have to expect the young losman to have more faith in him. so if pressured, expect a few last second jump balls to be thrown that way. the FS should be able to play a little tighter double team, since he probubly wont get beat deep by moulds, and eather knock down, or pick off, one of those desperation throws. Evans is a deep threat, and has very good hands for a young player, he isnt as good catching with tight coverage. but since most defenses will double moulds, this leaves just the CB. and the CB will have to play off a few extra yards to defend the deep passes. sliping a OLB into coverage might result in a INT, as the QB sees the CB deep and thinks he can get an easy pass underneath.
i believe Parish will be the slot WR. and it might take him a while to adapt to the NFL.

the TE (Campbel) is a good run blocker, but not the greatest pass catcher. (but thats not to say he CANT catch). but he should be easily covered by an average LB, or SS.

as for the defense:
the only real weakness is CB. Clements is top notch, so i would pick on the #2 CB McGee. but if the Bills put a 3rd CB on the field, i would throw at whoever he is covering every time.
OLB Posey is not a weakness, but is the weakest starting LB.

now isnt learning fun. :D

Do you seriously want me to ruin your thread by talking smack in it?
No. I do not. Bro, my best friend in the world is a Bills fan and he comes over with a lifesize cut out of Doug Flutie eating flutie flakes everytime they play each other. I've got some respect for the bills no doubt, but I also have a bit of smack engrained in me naturally. I apologize.

The Bills will throw bombs against your D becasue Losman will be able to buy sometime with hi sfeet and your safeties SUCK, so that will leave them all alone against a much faster and more skilled Lee Evans. TOUCHDOWN Buffalo, and the Fins lose a squeker 35-9.

In all honesty, I believe you. I figure after the success that Pitt had last year with Ben...opened a lot of eyes in the league about how to integrate a rookie QB. Set him up for success. So I don't see that happening either by choice of the staff, but it's when a QB feels the game is just too much...pressure builds...nothing seems to be working..."if only i can make this pass then the game will turn around and I'll be a hero"...BOOM...interception Pick 6. That's why it's so fun to see a young guy in there.

I didn't follow loseman a lot in college, but I know he was well hyped...did he scramble a lot in college? Just curious. Seems to be the new trend ever since Vick. That new A smith was a runner too.

He's fast, but he didn't run like Vick, more of a scramble to avoid pressure... His line in college was pitiful, so he did alot of it.

Mularkey likes a mobile QB (Kordell) he will use JP's talents.

no apology needed. This is your thread.

i thought the name of the game is ALWAYS to put pressure on the QB force him to make quick and sometimes stupid decisions. and on the run we have to get in the Backfield, and make proper tackles to avoid the runner from bouncing off poor tackles...

hey call me whatever you want...this thread is kinda redundant

In response to FLSUKZ(way creative to use that Z...genius)

wow is that funny. Whew. Very good. Dude, the bills haven't seen 35 points in a game in like 3 years. Nice try though. It's time for a nap though...run along and get off your kindergarten teacher's computer.

i would rather him buy time by drifing in the pocket away from the pressure, or rolling out of the pocket. if he starts running around like vick i might break some stuff in my house.

The Difference I think Will be that we wont be counting on the front four EVERY down to cause pressure hopefully he wont know where we are coming from EVERY SINGLE PLAY like the wanny era and thus it is worth discussing.

So enough about the bills. What about the two games against NE, the game against SD, there's one against Tennessee, Carolina, Atlanta.

Atlanta short answer:

force vick to standin the pocket and throw accurate passes. dont let price get open deep, and dont let vick run like vick.
