Weather affecting Pats? Not so fast....

I live in CT (not far from Pats-ville). Why do people around the country think it is like in the 60's up here??? Not.

Let me tell you, it is FRIGGIN HOT and HUMID here this week. 90 degrees and VERY humid today. Upper 80's and more humidity the rest of the week.

Yep, perfect time for the weather to get like that in New England....NOT. This is just giving the Pats the opportunity to practice in this all week. And knowing Bellicheese, he is making them all practice in Black Sweaters.

Agree it isn't the same KIND of heat/humidity...... but like i already said, it is certainly NOT a night and day difference.

You're laughably wrong.

We were talented then. A talented and conditioned team can use HFA in their favor. Unfortunately, this team cannot.

I know. We had an advantage back then. Over the past decade the heat has had no bearing on helping us win games.

Well...I'll tell you what bro....I'm happy to see a 1pm game in Miami...cause I know it is to our advantage.

If we play like we're capable of playing...we will win this game.

We'll if anybody remembers correctly our team wasn't ready for the HEATa few years back that can be had in Miami!..Let's just hope we are ready

Home field advantage works when a team is talented. See the 90's Bills in wintery Rich Stadium.

bingo! My whole family used to complain every year about how unfair it was for Buffalo to have to play in the heat in December. But it was Larry Czonka providing the real heat in the heat.

My answer to this will always be this: If Bill Lazor runs circles around this D and keeps control of the ball, you will see Vince Wolfork taking breathers on the sideline, guaranteed. The defense will be in the redzone with their hands on their hips. If that happens, Billy will be taking a timeout and water boy will be out there.

then you later will see guys cramping up. that's when the fun begins.

See above. Shulas winning percentage in September was probably 80 percent.

ESPN was interviewing Dennard I think. And he made mention if the heat, and having to be ready for it. If its in the back of their minds, that's a good thing. Hopefully Philbin and Lazor have that oline ready to go.

South Texas/South New Mexico heat is some rough stuff. Even KC has it days of 100+ with 90% + humidity.

Knowing Belichick I'm sure they've been instructed to take all the "injury" timeouts they need.

No doubt.

He will also have his little cabanas set up on the bench, along with those cooling stations...
