Well If Jeff Fisher Came here we would be looking for a new D coordinator right now.

Fisher threw his "buddy" under the bus. How do we know those Hijinx weren't going on when the two were in Tenn?

Regardless, Ireland is genius for not caving to JF!
His buddy deserved what he got. I'm sure they had bounties going on. Fisher probably ran them. He was a disciple of Buddy Ryan who was notorious for that. Saints got hit because this is a new NFL and they were told to stop then didn't.

You just called Ireland a genius. Now you have to live with that.

Fisher continues to be a consistent dummazz. He's been complaining about meddlesome Bud Adams conveniently to use him as a scapegoat rationalizing why, despite his worse than mediocre seasonal winning record, he's a control freak. However, in reality, the guy with the 80s porn moustache and equivalent anachronistic pound and ground philosophy really isn't any smarter than a battered wife considering he had no trouble renewing his contract 2 or 3 times under these "oppressive conditions." Is there any doubt he'd still be "suffering" in TN if he wasn't instead kicked to the curb himself?

When all's said and done, Fisher screwed his own pooch by either not even stopping to vet Williams, wondering why a team who won the SB with him had no problem offloading him.... or, just maybe, if he's a supposedly long-standing friend, he was all too aware about the Bounty Incentive and expected a continuation of same under his Rams watch; Either way, not the sharpest tool in the shed. :idk:

Losing your first choice DC after he's barely started the job is hardly worth losing any sleep over

Funny how things work out isn't it?

I wanted fisher of Philbin, only because he has experience.

But I think Philbin has out together a decent staff. I'm looking forward to the season.
