From what I've read, Miami improved in all areas, Daniels looked good, the weakest link was qb, Frerotte didn't play too well, very average at best, but Feeley was just horrible. I'll say this though, some of you guys are way too fickle, damn last week it was the Guskateers, Gus rules, this and that, now Gus sucks!. Come on, I didn't like how he played but at least he's throwing to the playmakers on the field, Chambers, Boston, etc. Feeley doesn't do that, I don't know where this lack of talent thing you're talking about, maybe o-line but it's still improve, this doesn't happen over night, ya know. We have three more preseason games, I'm still holding judgement on Gus at least, because if he plays well next week, there's going to be another parade on this forum, all hail Gus! but seriously I want to see more, it just could have been a bad game, or it could be him, but he'll probably start next week too. WE have a nice compliment of Wr, I don't know where the lack of talent on offense is, Chambers, Boston is coming back, he didn;t have the ball thrown his way in the game though but this is preseason, wrs don't get much balls thrown their way, and Booker compleents both guys because he would be great running the slot, he will be fine in the linehan's system, the best group of Wrs are the one's that compliment each other, you don't want all speedy small receivers, becuase even if they are really talented, a good coach and D, can real take them for a loop, NE was physical with Indys receivers who were all fast but small, so they were getting jammed at the line of scrimmage, or bumped off routes messing up the timing which the Indys offense is based on, a great offense that it is. You want receivers to vary a little. I think it would be best for Chambers and Boston to the outside and Booker in the slot, he would be a really good possesion receiver, and he can run like a rb after the catch. All these guys have size too, and Chambers and Boston have the combo, size speed. These guys won't be jammes too easily, especially 228lb Boston. most dbs are like 195-200. Oh yeah I forgot about McMichael, Diamond is looking good too. I agree, I'm not happy with the performance of the qbs, but I want to see more, atleast from Ferotte before assuming anything.
