We've been duped

It was the 4th round, I was screaming on this board for orton as the 4th is a very good round for a project qb which I don't think not a person on this board didn't think we needed to pick up a project qb so it is sabans fault for drafting all defense when it mattered and it will take time to see if he picked good!
 
:lol: The season hasn't even started and people are saying Saban is worse than Wanndstedt. Man this place is great for a laugh sometimes.

First of all Fin Fan RI you have bee reported for violating the TOS. Personal attacks are not allowed. If you don't like the topic then get off the topic. If you disagree them dsiagree. If you don't like me then use the ignore function. But personal attacks are not allowed.

I am emoting about our inability to sovle the QB problems. I do not think Aj or Gus is a good choice. That is the problem. Here we are trying to sign WRs (Price) and we signed A RB (Chatham) and we still have no QB?

We could have drafted Kyle Orton or Charlie Frye. Orton sepcifically,would have been a good choice.

I am not even bothered by people preferring Gus, even though I do not understand it. I do take exception to many just pounding AJ when the guy has acutally played slightly better over the course fo the preseason. I think slamming AJ is wrong. He is just one of the problems in this QB disaster.

As Tim1958 said. Don't mistake my passion for us getting better for me not being a decent person. I am smiling the whole time I write all of this. I just do not understand how we can leave such a key postion unresolved. I have also said I am willing to give Saban time to see.

I saw it comming

I saw it comming AJ to 3rd string. but Gus shoundnt be first... Gus will start when Saban had enough to see by lets say half time then Sage will take over. If AJ dosnt get cut or traded today watch for the phins to pick up Couch when he is ready and then they will let go of AJ. If AJ gets traded today or cut the phins will pick up Brock back up until Couch is ready.

Sorry Couch haters but will will be picking him up and giving him a shot.

Quit being a baby because some players are gone. Saban knows football better than any of us and cleaning up the Wannstedt-era rubbish is fine by me. This has been our best offseason in a long-time (probably since '83).

Rome wasn't built in a day. If we can't find a QB this year, we'll get one after the season.

Best offseason since 83? How in the world would you know something like that? Were you watching preseason football in the womb?
I hardly think that a record of 1-4 equates to a good offseason. If anything it has taught us that we have a long way to go.

Otherwise, I agree with you.
 
He still had to caoch them, he didnt completely destroy the team if we had a decent qb we probably would have won the whole thing1 And since we going by that since saban drafted the whole defense we get to blame him when they can't stop anyone!

:fire: I think duped is a little over the top. Beyond that Saban has definitely not set this organization back as you state. One thing we all need to remember is that you can fix all the problems in one year. Wanspeil left this team in a mess. One draft and offseason will not put Humpty back together again. The QB position will be addressed. Had the right QB (right in Saban's eyes- not ours) been available at the right pick Saban would have drafted one. I have faith that he is already looking ahead to options for the future. He is building this team and he is doing a good job of building, but it will take a little time.:rolleyes:
