What a great article on Ross.

Most of the inner working front office, from Mike Dee on down was hired after HE hired Dee in 2009. That is when the team started faltering badly on and off the field.

So it's Mike Dee's fault then? This whole mess is on Mike Dee?

Then I guess hiring Cowher won't make a difference then.

Ross has made a couple of mistakes, but the Ross bashing is just hilarious. It's just unreal that some people still don't understand that THERE WAS A LOCKOUT LAST SEASON and it was not even a sure thing that football would be played. He made a run at three big name, high profile coaches and only when it did not work out he elected to stand pat.

You should get down on your knees and be grateful that Steve Ross is running this team and not Wayne Huizenga at this moment, or you would be stuck with Kyle Orton on a huge, overpriced contract for the next five years. Or have seen your #1 overall pick sent to Oakland for Carson effing Palmer.

WTF Has Ross done to make this team better? not was has he tried to do but the question is what has he done?

Honestly just about everything hes done has blown right the **** up in his face.

He comes aboard and Parcels jump ship....Harbaugh doesnt even wanna step foot on this ship...Gator Day seriously Gator ****ing day.

Maybe theres something ive missed that hes done good or great...Shame on the NFL for letting this ****ing guy buy a Team.

Did I say the WHOLE mess was on Dee ? No....but someone said he hasn't made a major hire since becoming the majority owner, and I was merely pointing out that they were WRONG. It just happens that soon after Dee got here, the team started failing and falling apart. You can surmise anything you wish from what I said.....that's on you.

I doubt it, because Ireland & Sparano would have been gone before the last draft & FA signing period had crater face still been the owner. Back to back 7-9 seasons and then losing 7 of 8 at home and also losing at home to Buffalo, Detroit and Cleveland....TRUST ME Wayne would have run them out on a rail......

Are you working for Ross? Seriously.

He is a full owner for almost 3 years. What has he done good except hold the status quo? I always hear and read about how he has done nothing bad. Well, gee whiz. Sometimes stuck in the crap mode and doing nothing is doing something bad by default.

Further do I find it amazing that the Harbaugh attempt is being washed away just like that. Maybe the young and upcoming coach dissed us because of Ross. There is no credit for a mere attempt. Sorry.

The way I see it: Ross is pitching with the surrounding land of Sun Life-less Stadium for a casino. A 25 year old stadium with no roof (and no county paying for a roof to grow Ross' pocket change) has lost the Superbowl because of a few rain drops. It now becomes unattractive. A dwindling fan base. A friendship with a scumbag (AEG) and a brand new stadium stadium, with tax advantages for moving a franchise into an area who loves celebrities and carpets (red or orange). Unless he proves otherwise we are a moving candidate.

It is a common occurrence in business having it set up as a failing company in order to move it for plenty of tax dollar in the new location. Remember Cleveland: history is not a guarantee to keep a football franchise where its roots are. As most have said: he is a business man.

Right now he is, as an owner, setting the Dolphins up to fail.
