This is a serious question for those who share your point of view, and only you can be honest with yourselves about the answer.
Would it make all of you happier to be wrong about Tua and have him and the Dolphins be successful, or would it make you happier to be right about Miami making a mistake about signing Tua and see the team do poorly so you can say "I told you so"?
Shame on anyone whose first reaction was to think "See, I told everyone on Finheaven so". Let's have just a little dignity and respect for what's happening before we start patting ourselves on the back for something potentially terrible happening to a player on the team we supposedly love.
Well stated, bdizzle.
To be just, though, the "I told yah so's" are deserved.
Many on this forum were still advocating TRADING UP for Tua EVEN AFTER THE COLOSSAL HIP INJURY.
The minority tried to call attention to Tua being injury prone & THE HIGH SOCIETY OF THIS FORUM LAUGHED THEM OFF.
Now, could anyone foresee CONCUSSIONS being a problem? Common, man. That's on no one. That's just the curse doing its thang.
Tua is a very talented QB. He turned me into a forever fan in Baltimore. This is/should be a depressing day for any true Phins fan whether you licked Tua's arse or wanted to put a boot in it.
Onward we go...
