What trade value does Matt Moore have

Did Sanchez have OTAs? he had never worked w/ 3 of his top 4 WRs entering the year. Moore came in w/ no presure to win.

If we beat beat Miami in week 17 we would not have gone to the playoffs, do you not understand this? Sanchez did fail this year for the first time in his 3 years career- it happens. The "great" eli manning threw 25 INts a year ago and missed the playoffs each of the last 2 years by choking late.

do you not read ever? I've literally posted the same thing at least 5 times that while he was playing in the Dolphin game, the Titans game was still going on and went down to the last second, the Jets game ended before the Titans game so Sanchez had NO idea they were eliminated!! They lost that game with a chance still to go, i love how you are almost trying to make it sound like a good thing that the Jets lost because they wouldn't have made it anyway because the Titans won, BUT im sure if the Titans lost, because the rest of the breaks actually did go the Jets way with the rest of the games and the Jets woulda backed in just like 09', you would be praising them and making up all types of BS excuses how they didnt back in and Sanchez "led" them to the playoffs even though he threw 3 picks and lost them the Dophins game. Any to reiterate for the 1,000th time like everyone on this sit has said, Sanchez did not have "success" his rookie year since you claim he only failed once out of 3 years, he was AWFUL in 09' how you could possibly say he "led" them to anything that year is beyond me and just shows how much you are obsessed with Sanchez and blinded with homerism, he was terrible a turnover machine lost them games single handily, he had the number ONE defense in the league and a top 3 running game, they got let into the playoffs by the Colts, woopdie doo he won them a wild card and a divisional playoff game, so for 2 out of 19 games that year he did okay, get over the two title game LOSSES already please, stop living in the past and realize Sanchez was awful this past year and choked in the biggest game of the season in the 2011 season, this is not 09' or 10'

NyJunc, one of the most popular dolphin fans in the world !!!!!!!!!!!

One day, maybe when i retire........ i'll be just like him.

he basically has no trade value, unless someone's starter goes down for the year in preseason, or very early in the season.

:lol2::lol2: a 3rd or 4th rd pick, you might be able to get that if you throw in Cam Wake w/ him. 3rd or 4th rd pick:lol: most teams understand Moore is nothing more than a career backup, he's valuable as a backup but no team would even give up a conditional 3rd or 4th rounder, you'd be lucky to be able to get a conditional late rd pick.

Silly post, really. MOORE on his worst day is better than SANDWEDGE. MOORE had the Albatross of COLUMBO/CAREY around his neck, which your guy never had. And MOORE had no preseason worth mentioning, and "back-pup QB's reps" until HENNE went down. All this, and on a new team. But MOORE ended up as the 12th best rated QB in the NFL, even after such a bad start. And he makes throws that your guy couldn't make if his life depended on it. I posted a while back that MOORE at his worst was better than T DILFER, who has a SB Champion's ring; and that I felt that he'd be very solid and maybe a "franchise QB". I also posted that i/m/o if the JETS had MOORE instead of SANCHEZ, I wouldn't mind having the JETS in the "office pool" to win the SB. I stand by that, 100%. I've seen what MOORE can do, and I like what he can do--A LOT. I also strive to put blame where it belongs! All that stands between MOORE/MIAMI's "O" and great performance is the right side of the MIAMI OL. As for SANCHEZ, grow up...and open your eyes. Stop slurping up the drivel that the NY Media keeps feeding you. If SANCHEZ wasn't Latino, no one would be trying to tout him as the 2nd coming of OTTO GRAHAM or something. Get over it: press clippings won't do a thing for SANCHEZ, skills-wise. The Fat Boy blew it...deal with it and move on!! And if MIAMI is stupid enough to bench MOORE for someone w/a 2 Game resumee, then when MOORE becomes an U/F/A in 2013, tell the Fat Boy to ante up and sign MOORE up--LONGTERM. Then you might actually win a SB. But don't wait too long! Your JETS tried to "win now". They aren't good enough, w/"prima donna" WRs and a mediocre-inconsistent young QB. And Father Time eventually comes for everyone. Or to use a more apt cliche, your JETS' "window" is closing!

Moore has very little trade value but he is cheap and did play well last year so he could maybe garner a 5th. As a dolphin fan I feel fans are fooling themselves if they think that Moore has more trade value than Sanchez in fact I would take Sanchez any day of the week over moore as would most nfl gm's. That doesnt mean I think Sanchez is awesome but he definately has more upside than Moore.

Moore and Sanchez both suck.

We disagree. I myself am ok w/MOORE or FLYNN, though I'd rather go w/MOORE. He's already here, paid for, and his price is a lot less than any other QB alternative, including FLYNN. And despite being on a new team, w/no preseason worth mentioning, and w/getting only "back up QB's reps" until HENNE went down, and w/COLUMBO-CAREY guarding his right side (ha!), and w/horrid coaching, MOORE was still rated the 12th best QB in the NFL, and under his leadership, MIAMI was highly ranked in completions over 20 yards. THAT is concrete evidence, and proof positive that you are wrong about MOORE: a 12th ranked NFL QB is NOT A BACK-UP, and does NOT suck. No sir! You were only HALF right: SANCHEZ is mediocre-and-inconsistent. (I'm not using the "S" word)

As to QB alternatives to MOORE, NO MANNING: he's too expensive and way too risky. And FLYNN has a resumee of TWO NFL games--not nearly enough--and will want KOLB MONEY, which I wouldn't pay for ANY back-up, especially one w/a TWO game resumee. Lastly, I would refuse to "mortgage the farm" for RG III or ANYONE ELSE. If that all means MOORE, so be it. MIAMI can at least then go after A LOT of F/A talent.

heh, you're as predictable as a nun in a pickle patch. Guaranteed, if Moore was on the jest and Taco played for us, you'd merely be substituting the names above.

You can say what you want but I speak the truth. Only some dolphin fans would say they would rather have matt Moore than mark Sanchez. Also when have you read any overwhelming praise I have for Mark Sanchez but lets not be silly and act like Moore has had a better career than Sanchez or that he has more trade value. Please ask any knowledgable person and he would laugh at the assumption that moore has more trade value than Sanchez. My answer is predictable because its common damn sense. hell even after a good year all you can hear out of our coaches and ownership is we need a damn quarterback. i dont know why we cant be happy that Moore played well without trying to act like he is the find of the century. Im all for keeping him and seeing what he has got but there is a reason we were able to sign him off the scrap heap for peanuts.

I would bundle Moore into a trade agreement for either the Rams or the Vikings draft spot if we are interested in getting RG3. I dont see either of those teams using their pick on a new QB but they both could be interested in a solid B/U and willing to swap picks with us if we threw Moore into the trade. Simply trading him out for a low round pick makes no sense to me but using him to move up in the draft does if we are QB shopping in this draft. To replace him we could resign Henne or go after someone like Tarvaris Jackson in FA to replace Moore.

I am reading all this Moore is better than Sanchez and it makes me laugh. Sanchez as average as he is got his team to 2 Championship games and has played clutch and won games with his play at the end of games many times. About the only clutch play Moore has ever seen is when he is shifting gears in his car.

What does Moore add in a trade up? If we want to swap picks if we add Moore we still basically have to give up another first round pick and more . Moore really does nothing to help us trade up.
