How did Manny Wright not realize everyone else was in full pads. He is in the same locker room as everyone else and even if he arrived late or something, he would have seen at least one player in pads. Was he trying to make Saban mad? He must be dumber than we all think.

lol...ya thats what was kinda wierd...

Theres gotta be something wrong with the guy, the report said he was crying

iguess since saban said to wear the red shirt he thought " hey no pads" ....:smackhead

Am I the only one who kind of feels for the guy? I would probably cry too. He's been through lots of stuff and he is trying to change things around and he made a really stupid mistake and got reamed out. It was just his emotions coming into play. Yea it was dumb, but he just went and got the pads on. It doesnt hurt the team. I think his emotional reaction is a sign that he really wants to make a good impression. If he didnt care he wouldnt have teared up. Lets give the guy a break and see how he plays. Its silly everyone is giving so much attention to this incident.

Lay off him just a tad. Obviously, he shouldn't be crying but, from what his agent said there was a communication problem. Enough so that Saban appologized. I doubt that Wright's agent would come out in the press and flat out lie about this. Dude is 21, seems like he was working pretty hard the first couple of practices, gets reemed out in front of the entire team and fans because of an apparent communication issue. Granted no crying. But just a small break for the kid, lets not bury him.

either that or someone played a bad joke on him

My thoughts exactly.

I hope this kid makes the team...I hope he makes the roster...I'm pulling for him.

It really sounds like he wants to go in the right direction...hopefully he puts people on their a$$...that's how he needs to get this out...he should just think about the media overblowing this situation and poking fun at him...and everytime he lines up...he comes out and puts o-lineman...rb...qb...who's ever in his path right on their butts.

Go Fins!!!

He'll make the roster. He's a monster and he's REALLY young...

yea he'll be on our final roster. definitely dont know what he was thinking not showing up in pads and crying but hey he's young and we got him in the supplemental draft. Cut the guy just a little slack.
