I think Roth's future is at outside linebacker in a 3-4. He's too small to be a big time DE in the NFL... at least right now he is. So, if he can bulk up, he could be more effective at DE, or he could stand up in a 3-4 opposite JT
. With Zach and Seau/Crowder in the middle, Traylor/Chester at NT, Carter, and someone hopefully stepping up on the other side (Holliday/Vickerson/Wright/Zgonina?); they could do some damage blitzing any of the linebackers and having some playmakers free to hit.
I can't wait to see the 3-4 alignments they throw in during each game, and am curious how much they would benefit from being in an unknown alignment (to the other team, of course) only a handful of times each game.
