When It Comes To QBs, That Proverbial Grass Is NOT Always Greener!

Murray played an absolutely terrible game last night. He looked like a backup and frankly he hasn't look good since mid-season.
He was terrible at the end of last season as well. It seems like it's a pattern with him. He starts out fast but crashes around the middle of the season. He doesn't seem like he has what it takes to play at a high level for a whole season.

I remember when I first moved to the Bay Area and all the criticism Steve Young took from the fans. Now there are some who think he was better than Joe Montana.

All these young quarterbacks are going to have some ups and downs. Kyler Murray had a fantastic year, but obviously Arizona faded down the stretch. I know they had some key injuries.

Tannehill is actively proving you wrong, yet here you are still acting like he was garbage instead of the garbage around him.

Comical.
Sorry but Tannehill is nothing special. He is on a team that has a good o-line and running game. They don't ask him to do that much. He can't carry a team like Aaron Rodgers, Patrick Mahomes, Tom Brady, Josh Allen, or Joe Burrow can. He reminds me of Jimmy G with the 49ers.

Yet he's on top of the AFC.

Your excuse that he has a good OL and running game falls flat when you realize all those other QBs you mentioned benefit from great to average OL with Burrows being the lone exception.

TB has the 2nd best OL
SF has the 3rd
KC is 5th
GB is 14th
TEN is 15th
BUF is 16th
CIN is 20th

The Phins OL is dead last:

Miami’s offensive line surrendered a league-leading 235 pressures this season and recorded the worst pass-blocking efficiency score in the NFL. The unit did this despite being well protected by a quarterback getting rid of the ball quickly and by the team running the third-most RPOs in the league. The offensive line was run blocking on almost one out of every five passing plays, removing the chance of being exposed in pass protection. Miami gambled that their young players would develop this season and the line would improve, but that unquestionably backfired.

Sorry but you're seeing the results and placing the blame where it doesn't belong.

When it comes to QB it's not about grass, it's about whether he gives you a chance at SB. Tua failed, in Tennessee. He also failed by missing a lot of games this year.

Who cares if they are the #1 seed. That won't mean crap if they lose this Saturday or the following week. How did Tannehill do in the playoffs last year when they played the Ravens at home? He pretty much stunk it up and was a big reason they lost.

Umm that's the entire ****ing point. I guess you don't want the phins to be the #1 spot.

How did any QB do last year that didn't win the SB?

Take the L, bro.

Naaa…he was driving late and his WR fell down, missing his chance at a perfect pass. Tannehill didn’t trip him.

I and others made the same argument about RT when he was here…give him an average OL and run game to develop under and he’ll be fine. No he’s not Rodgers or Mahomes, but he’s good enough. He was never the weak link.

I ain't taking the L bro. You make it seem like Tannehill is some special QB and he's not. He's in the average category. Those are the facts jack!
