Who do you want as Head Coach in 2015 ?

Who would you like as Head Coach in 2015?

Someone who will run the football. I don't like Chip Kelly's personality but I respect that he understands the value of rushing attempts. Same with Malzahn. Hurry up and run the ball. That's what we should be doing. Tempo has nothing to do with Tannehill.

For some reason everybody hates Wannstedt. He won because he ran the football. Not coincidental or complicated. He covered the spread much more often than not and went over his season win over/under because he ran the football.

As I've emphasized countless times, there's nothing more suicidal than running empty sets and throwing the ball 40+ times per game when you have a mediocre quarterback. Our ratio with this personnel should be 40 rushes and 20 passes, not the reverse.

If you find a premier quarterback, then sure all the rules are out the window, given current strangling of the defense. BTW, it was terrific in yesterday's game that the referees let them play in the secondary all day long. I'm not sure there was one cheap flag.

Bevell does intrigue me. I recall looking at a bunch of press conferences last year and Bevell has the gravitas that Philbin sorely lacks. He has also been successful at developing QBs throughout his career, unlike Philbin whose claim to fame in Green Bay was putting together epic PowerPoint presentations.

Sparano ran the ball too... It doesn't always work, a team requires balance to be successful.

What intrigues me is his playcalling ability. Wallace being used like Percy? Are you kidding me?

Not to mention Ryan s/b used like RW3.. a smart athletic game manger.

You have to be able to do both effectively. Interesting statistic: the 3 best teams in the NFC last season were #30, #31, and #32 in passing attempts per game. These teams all had young quarterbacks who weren't really able to shoulder the load of carrying their respective offenses on their backs, yet they went a combined 37-10. Two of them played in the NFC championship game, and that #32 team just happened to win the Super Bowl. And I like that #32 team's chance to repeat because they are able to put more on their quarterback as he develops and be better for it, as opposed to putting it all on him and then wondering why they went 8-8.

You have to threaten with the run and the pass in order to be successful in football. What is perplexing about the Dolphins right now is that we don't really threaten teams with our awful passing game, yet we're still refusing to run the ball, and we have continued with the same ineffective passing routes and concepts for two weeks in a row. Bill Lazor needs to right this ship quickly, because it's taking on water fast and he is as culpable as the crummy QB right now.
 
Our last four coaches were Sabin , Cam , Tony and now Joe.
Not one lick of NFL head coaching experience much less playoff experience between them.
If Joe goes i want someone who has won at the NFL head coaching level and has also has won playoff games and possible a SB.
Give them all control and get out of the way.

my choice is easily Harbaugh. I have no clue whats going on behind the scenes in San Fran but man, they had a rocky off season. It'd be sweet if Ross talked Harbaugh into taking the Fins job
 
Personally, I think we need one guy to run the whole show. We need to find a credible coach and let him pick his own gm. You can't have too many cooks in the kitchen. Choose a great football mind and let him do his thing. I think the HC should be choosing the players that he has to work with. Enough with the fire the HC/Fire the GM BS. One person needs to lead this franchise and that person needs to be accountable. Maybe Harbaugh. I think it's difficult to give that responsibility to a coordinator or college coach. But this organization needs one voice.

We should hire Don Shula. Fok it, I don't care if he is 100 yrs old and on the sidelined in a wheelchair.
