Who forgives ricky for what he did?

Smoke weed to ease the pain? Sorry chief.......he told the media he did it because he no longer wanted to take his Paxil........

So he quit his job that he felt dissatisfied with and now suddenly he's satisfied with it..........ironically with an 8.6 million dollar debt and $340,000 trust fun hanging in the balance for his illegitimate child.

If you played in Wannestedt's system, money doesnt mean much. I wouldnt be satisfied no matter how much.

And if he think it works for him better than Paxil, then good! However, dont use it when were in season. Its not a performance enhancing substance.

As long as the NFL has weed as a banned substance, there is no arguing the point of whether or not it was cool for him to smoke because of his condition.

And give me a break about Wanny's system........... you're overdramatizing it. Lord knows the man could take himself out of the game whenever he wanted - in fact I saw it happen numerous times where he needed a breather and Travis Minor spelled him.

Overdramatizing it? Did you see our team this year without Ricky? Thats what Wannestedt did even without him, run the same dam plays. Look how many running backs got injured. And you would like Ricky to endure that? Im starting to think Joel Collier stepped down for a different reason...

You know what? Lets just let Ricky come back and we'll see how soon you are wearing his #34 jersey. ;)

Wanny's system is not responsible for Lamar Gordon getting hurt ......... give me a break.......... he got piledriven by a Pittsburgh linebacker 4 or 5 yards AFTER the line of scrimmage.

Joel Collier stepped down because he was forced to. Although I will attribute part of Boston's injury to Wanny because he failed to realize the legitimacy of Boston's knee tendinitis.

Didn't own one before, DEFINATELY won't be wasting my money now. I'd rather throw my money in a garbage can and p*ss on it.

Would any of you forgive Warfield, Csonka and Kiick if they left for the WFL if this were 1974?

I'd be more likely to disown them too...........alas I was not alive to comment on it really though.

By the way, we didn't play that run, run, run style Wanny ball you're cryin' about last year............. we ran the ball 384 times and threw it 586 times. Again, you're overdramatizing stats.

Because we didnt have Ricky, it was obvious we needed to throw more. I cant believe youre defending Wannestedt, how can you defend a coach that much who took an overachieving team to the playoffs in 2000 then an underachieving team missing the playoffs in 2002? Thats another factor in Ricky retiring.

As a big Dolphin Fan.........Do I forgive R.W??? Yes. Am I still pissed off that he wrecked our past season..........YES. Is last season the PAST.........YES. Isn't it about this year??? YES. If he can help us WIN this year then that is the bottome line. Besides, I remember that last year we all looked for someone to blame on how this team performed. If I remember correctly, we were in a lot of close games that we very well could on won..........seattle and a few others that were lost due to Qb mistakes. R.W. makes us a better team and w/o him last year we were the bottom of the barrel except for S.F.

Lastly, who hasn't in their right mind wanted to quit their job travel the world and smoke bowls day after day!!! I can dream right  Well I would love todo that; however, my wife and 3 kids forced me to grow up and realize that that will never happen so off to the daily grind again!!! :yell: R.W. just had the $$$ at the time (until he lost the court case) and the BALLS to do it.........so how can u fault him???

I'm merely defending Wanny to you claim that he's the reason Ricky left. Get this: Ricky was going to be gone anyways because he tested positive a 2nd and a 3rd time for smoking weed. I know that's hard to except, but he was not going to be there in 2004 anyways. What would you have said then? Let's forget Wannyball and your hatred for it for just a moment. How would you have felt had he gotten suspended?

Just because he's got the kahonas of an irresponsible pr*ck, doesn't make him faultless.

The question is who forgives ricky for what he did i for one if and when he does comes back i will support it but i will never ever buy another ricky thing again.maybe it's just me but i have mixed feelings one part wants to forgive him the other half wants to say screw him i guess he will have to regain that trust and respect back with his teamates first and then with the fans.myself i will cheer for anybody in a fins uniform hands down but i don't know maybe im just confused.
I dont want him back but if hes on the team then i have to support him but only when hes playing.I will never buy anything with his name on it.

I'll tell you what if RW gives me (us) back to back SB wins and an undeated season I'll forgive him.Deal?

Of course I would be dissapointed. But im sure the league would have required a lesser offense to him since he has no criminal record. Im sure he would not have been required to miss an entire season, especially a star player like Ricky. Lets forget your hatred for Ricky for a moment, and think about why Ricky left, I think he would quit had it been made public knowledge he smoked. I think the situation with Wanny is what drove him out.
