Who here wants Forrest Lamp? I do!

Compensation most likely will be for a 3rd, 4th and a late rounder for a late 20's drop down. I'd do it in a heartbeat. Willis will still be there.

Are you saying we would get a 3 AND a 4 plus a late pick to move down into the late 20's?.....at best we can hope for a 3 to only move down a few spots.....getting 3 picks to move down 5 or 6 spots could only happen if you're trading with t-dumb

Ozzy rules!!

Sheldon Richardson available?

NFL.com is reporting that the Jets will be shopping Sheldon Richardson. They said that their asking price is dropping and could fall to a mid-round draft pick.

I know he's a bit of a headache, but for a 4th rounder I wouldn't mind giving it a shot. This is probably just smoke, but the Patriots always seem to acquire good talent for nothing.

One of the worst things about this site is a lot of the posters inability to drop something from the past. You guys are ridiculous sometimes worse than a nagging wife. Sometimes I wish we had a Waa-ambulance emote...

Question for the board: If Browns takes a QB at #1, and all of a sudden you see the Fins trade up to the #2 spot...

"With the 2nd pick in the 2017 NFL draft, the Miami Dolphins select, Myles Garrett."

Your response?

My response is easy, I would expect him to blow his knee/knees out during the first week at camp.

Partly why things seem to always work out for New England is they have very very good coaching. Remember what Bum Phillips used to say about Shula,"He can take his'n and beat your'n and take your'n and beat his'n"

A team desperate enough to get their qb would do that. It's like what? 180 value points from 22 to 27-29?

Interesting comment from former Jets GM, Pat Kirwan on Sirius NFL this afternoon. He was asked about Malik McDowell and whether he was seen as a DT or DE. I was expecting a DT answer but Kirwan's response was definitely a DE. He also said that big 330 lb road grader Guards would be a nightmare for McDowell to compete with as a DT. Other interesting comment from Kirwan was that he rated McDowell at overall #4 in his first mock draft just after the Super Bowl. He asked the question, "Why has he seemingly slid so dramatically since the first mock Draft?" He hasn't played any games and there's no new tape on him. Kirwan thought that Malik could be seriously under-rated as a DE because he has 1st round talent. He just needs to become more consistent. The talent is there.

I mentioned in another thread, I'd trade back with Cleveland.

Miami gets: Pick 33, pick 65, pick 108
Cleveland gets: pick 22, pick 97

I think we like to stick it to Tannabaum, I don't think it is something he would do at this cross road.

Based on .... ?

Trader Mike is still Trader Mike. It's what he does. He did it last year. He's earned the name until his actions merit otherwise. I assume more of the same.

I remember when Bobby Knight was asked by Portland Trailblazers who they should take in the draft. He said, "take Michael Jordan."

They said, "...but we need a center."

Knight, "Take Jordan and play him at center."

Malik could easily be rookie defensive player of the year...and Kirwan is way off base thinking Malik will get bulldozed. He's incredibly stout splitting and holding his ground with double teams. It seems a negative groupthink has taken hold of Malik.
