Sorry, but I've changed my stance on this.

I was originally all-in on giving Tannehill the whole year to prove himself no matter what, but I would start him for 1 more game and if he stinks it up again you start Moore (but that probably wont happen, knowing this coaching staff).

IMO, at some point you have to send the message that mediocre QB play (holding on to the ball too long, not running when you have a clear sneak opportunity, bad long ball, etc.) is not acceptable.

You want to hear another stupid argument the Tannehill apologists and Matt Moore haters love...............

They argue that if Moore were better he wouldnt be sitting the bench because our coaches see the QBs everyday and they KNOW that Moore sucks.

Well arent we talking about the same coaches that they claim do not have a clue?

When it comes to apologizing for Tannehill, the coaches are always idiots who cost us games. But, when it comes time to say why Moore shouldnt start, all of the sudden those same coaches become GENIUSES who would never have the better player on the bench.

That is the same kind of logic liberals use.

yup, this coaching staff is clueless.

again, hes starting because he is there guy and he supposedly is a good guy.

if he was calling out the coaches like rg3 did, maybe they would bench him coupled with his bad play, but philbin rather die with his own qb rather than someone elses, hence the reason tannehill was handed the job.

also, another funny thing about our fan base/ philbin, i remember in 2012 when clowns on here were talking about bringing in matt flynn as our qb, and there reasoning when we didnt bring him in was how philbin knows best, if he does not want him, he must not be good.

like any football fan who sits on the couch all sunday couldnt tell u matt flynn blows, like we needed philbins approval of whether he was the guy or not.

this qb sucks, and the coaching staff is clueless. id take sparano over this guy in a heartbeat. The one thing u cant bash sparano for was heart, the guy cared about every single play, and he showed it.

IMO it's too early to pull the plug on RT17. But if the motivation is to try and wake RT17 up with a Moore start then I would be all for that.

Moore, he hasn't done what he was brought here for in 3 years. He cannot lead this offense, he has no fire, and his throws are STILL off the mark. How many interviews will he conduct saying he's working on his skills, trying hard every day. ENOUGH!
Luck doesn't say this, nor does Wilson, Kaepernick, RG3. Stop talking about it and do it!
But he can't, thats the reason why.
Start Moore and hopefully we ignite things, I wish we could bench Philbin.

I see what you're saying but i think thats the worst option of the three (1, start moore, 2, start tannehill, 3 start moore to send a message to tannehill, then start tannehill once moore struggles)

Can't start playing musical chairs with the QB position just to send messages.

I'd start Moore. This team is in a position to win plenty of games this season as long as we start playing better offensively. No, our defense isn't perfect, but it's still pretty decent. Our offense, on the other hand, has been atrocious lately. Terrible. And Ryan Tannehill has been consistently bad since we played the Bills in Buffalo last year. I was rooting for Ryan, I really was. I think he's a good kid, smart, works hard, but he has regressed big time. And it's not even this season, the last two games of 2013 against the Bills and Jets he looked really bad as well. Maybe he's lost his confidence, maybe he just doesn't have what it takes to play the position in the NFL, but he has to be held accountable for his poor performances the last 5 games.

Now, maybe starting Moore will change nothing. But maybe it will. We need to give him a shot and find out. We have some talent on our roster and we shouldn't just throw in the towel. We need to change something on our offense to try to score more points. We already changed our OC, we rebuilt our OL, our running game has been decent this year, maybe a change in the QB position is what we need. Just my 2 cents.

A little birdie told me there is more "Oh no, Jameis, you didn't!" coming out in the next couple of weeks. So yeah, we didn't pick a good year for the Seth Lobato Experience.
yes I heard the same thing-that more is to come with Jameis- " last week was just the tip of the ice berg"

I went with Tannehill. If he and the team lose to Oakland then I bring in Moore to start vs. Green Bay. That game is after the bye so Moore would have plenty of practice reps. Then once Moore shows he isn't anything special I come on this site 24/7 to see the Moore-lovers try and explain what the **** happened.

there's no choice but to go with tannehill and pray he gets his mind right, somehow, as moore while perhaps being a better player is even less likely to turn into an elite one. this season is a wash, after it i think we'll be chucking philbin and tannehill both.

no one ****ing said moore was something special.

the difference between moore and tannehill, is that at least with moore, while u will get the same sacks, stupid decisions, etc, he will also move the offense and stretch the field. he is not a robot.

tannehill takes bad sacks, makes dumb decisions, and he never makes big plays.

so ya, that is the difference, with moore at least we will put up pts. no one thinks moore is bringing us to the promise land, but the dolphins can be somewhat entertaining to watch again, compared to what they have been the last 2 plus years

One other thing I thought I'd mention. Omar Kelly, the dumbest guy in the free world according to finheaven, actually flip flopped on Tannehill big time this offseason. He went from not liking him and being adamant he needed competition to loving him and saying he's clearly turned the corner. Maybe we all should have known better lol.

Yes this is the biggest misconception on the site. The folks lobbying for Moore just think he's better than Tannehill and from what we've seen isn't saying much nobody thinks he's:

The Answer
A savior
Something special
A super Bowl winning QB
A sure fire playoff QB

Where are people getting this????????
