Frerotte is a poor QB who has shown he can excell in liehans offense. He has huge numbers when Culpepper went down. He has proven he con run this O and until Feeley can do it as well ill go with Frerotte.

Name one QB that didn't look like a probowler throwing to moss. George, Cunningham, Frerotte all looked good.

7 stop drop and bomb it to Moss. That was the extent of his passes. Oh yeah, Burleson got in on the passes as well.

You forget as well that on alot of those bombs Moss either had to slow down or out jump the defenders for. If I am not mistaken that is the same thing that Fiedler did when he threw bombs to Chambers and we all know how you viewed Fiedler.:ears:

In reviewing that game I see 2-3 dropped ints. We were lucky, its wasnt all AJ. You see our D really stepped up, and made even tom brady look bad.

Uhhh....the same D that let them move up and down the field on them ?? Our D was atrochious (sp) the second half of the season...Did AJ faulter some, sure...but the OL was still not doing the job...

One thing about the Fins and NE...we did seem to match up to them fairly well...seems like every game the last few years was pretty closely played...We'll have to see how we will match up with them now...

Lack of offensive production? In the NE game? Watch that game again, we had much fewer 3 and outs that game. We had many drives stall after 5,6, or 7 plays, suks yes, but it isnt 3 and out where the defense is on teh field teh whole night. Also some balem goes to the defense if they cannot get many 3 and outs themselves. Not saying this is teh case entirely, the defense played great against NE. Overall I do agree with your premise, if the offense cannot maintain drives, defense will wear out.

Still dont believe Frerrotte is teh answer.

But AJ has to be given another chance... so that if he screws up again we know that he was a huge mistake and we can cut our losses... literally!!

Why would you start Gus? he is obviously not a long term answer to our team's QB need. It's not like we were a QB away from going to the Super Bowl last year. I would start Feeley and give him a chance to prove that he has what it takes. No QB contoversy. Let the kid play. If he sucks then we have a chance next year to pick up that franchise QB we have all been waiting for since the retirement of The Great One.

Gus Frerotte. He knows the system and is just better. But neither are the long term solution. To me, that's pretty obvious.
