PassRush said:100%, it comes down to the offensive line. Either Gus Ferotte or AJ Feeley could make the probowl if they were given a godly offensive line. Look, any quarterback at the NFL level can throw an acurate pass and make a decent read, its all a matter of the offensive line giving them time to do so. I am not saying we need a godly offensive line, just one good enough to buy a five second pocket and give the quarterback time to throw or give RxR a hole to run through

people need patience.
saban needs at least 2-3 years to turn this around.
expect a bad season this season.

I know everyone on here has either watched, listend or at least read about training cam and Pre-season to date. I also know that there is an ever-expanding contingent of people who have drawn multiple conclusions from July and August. The conclusions include: weak O-line play, lack of a QB stepping up and performing well, etc.
My question is: Why is everyone so eager to base decisions on a season that hasn't even started yet on the first few preseason games? Who is to say that we won't fix the o-line and QB problems either before the season or as it begins?
I'm sure if we search hard enough we'll find plenty of teams that have performed poorly in the pre-season and gone on to have winning records.
I know it's homerish but I think with our new coaching staff and our defense/playmakers at receiver and rb we could turn the tide and find ourselves in possible contention for a playoff spot in December.
Think Rams in 99 went from 3-13 to SuperBowl Champs
Think Panthers in '02? 2-14 to Superbowl
Think Patriots in '00 went from 3-13 to Superbowl Champs.
Numerous teams have gone from losing seasons to playoffs or in contention......why couldn't we think the same way at this date in August....?
Bash away!

these are qbs that no one thought would be good and they surprised and went to superbowls... just like brees did last year, any QB can all of a sudden get it and play better, especially inexperienced QBs
but also note the panthers were 2-14, then the next year i think 7-9 or 8-8, then they went to the superbowl, it wasn't right after that 2-14 season....
