Why cant we sell out?

The stadium is empty up until the 2nd qtr. Then it is empty until half way through the 3rd. Then it starts to clear halfway through the 4th. I know the beer sales and such is why it is empty until the mid 3rd but it is still a joke! GB is packed for 30 min prior to game until after the team leaves the field! That folks, is what fans should be like!

Yeah but the biggest thing other than the packers in Green Bay is the Walmart, Miami is completely different. It's a great party city, and a great town to enjoy things other than sports, the weather is nice, the city is beautiful there is so much to do opposed to other cities. I cant blame the fans for not showing up, and there will never be a solution to this problem unless the team wins games.

The reason we can't sell out is because the majority of Phinz fans living in the state of Florida are too damn lazy / cheap to get their collective ***** to the game...

If you're a Phinz fan living in the state of Florida, there's simply no excuse for not making it to the home games....

PHINZ RULE!!!

I disagree. While that maybe the case for fans in South Florida. I don't expect fans in Tampa and Jacksonville to make it to all the home games. Personally I'd like to go to the games, but I don't have the money to drive to Miami and see them in person.

A 4-5 hour drive is nothing. A game ticket is no more than $40, and if you guys can't afford that, I feel sorry for you....

These are the pathetic Phinz fans IMO. The ones who live in Florida, and don't support the team by going to the games. They just wait for the rest of us to buy up the tickets so they can sit at home on the couch....

It makes me sick to know that there are Phinz fans only a few hours away, who wont come to opening day. It's sad, and these guys call themselves fans???....

The season ticket holders are the fans who should be angry, not the guys who sit at home in the air conditioning in front of their TV's. Those fans should have nothing to say on the issue, they're part of the reason why these games are blacked out in the first place....

$40? Yeah right are you expecting us to go alone and sit in the top row? What about parking and food? But since you're so rich, why not buy us all a ticket? And sorry but anyone who drives 4-5 hours each way just to watch a game needs their head examined.

My tickets are in section 406, I pay $40 bucks a game. You can see from anywhere in the stadium, so sitting up in the nosebleeds is a very weak excuse. I could consider my seats as nosebleeds, and I see everything....

As for parking, add an extra $10 bucks. The food??....Buy a bucket of chicken for crying out loud!!!...

But since you're so rich, why not buy us all a ticket?

Why should I, I'm not the one complaining about the games being blacked out. I'm actually up in the seats supporting my team like most "loyal" fans. I could care less about the black-outs, it's the fans who come here bitching about it that make me angry....

And sorry but anyone who drives 4-5 hours each way just to watch a game needs their head examined.

What great support you have. Way to show your loyalty!!!...

It's fans like you that give us season tickets holders a band name. Don't like the black-outs, get your *** to the games!! NUFF SAID....

Ok so $40 per ticket (for the worst seats in the house) X 2 = $80 now add in the $10 parking = $90 now a "bucket of chicken" (which they wont allow you to bring in) = atleast $100. Not to mention you will also want something to drink while sitting there in blazing sun. As you can see it gets awful expensive very quick, alot more then the $40 you'd like us believe.

And Im sorry to see the only way to be a loyal fan in your eyes is to attend the games. I can assure you I follow this team alot closer then a great amount of the season ticket holders.

God I still can't call it that. Skydome is what it is to me. Temporarily yes. In the height of the Blue Jays winning streaks I believe they were able to pack upwards of 80,000 fans into that stadium. There's also plenty of shoreline space to build yet another stadium down there and they'd probably get the backing easily for that.

I'm pretty sure the skydome maxes out at around 55,000 fans. Back when the jays sold out every game that's all they could fit into there. If the NFL ever expanded to toronto, they'd need to build an entire new stadium, so I wouldn't hold my breath for that to happen anytime soon. Plus a lot of canadians go down to buffalo to see games...I guarantee you the Bills would do everything in their power to keep toronto from ever getting a team.

Im sorry but blitz is right. $100 is not expensive to see a game for 2 people. I'm not saying you must go every week, but you have more of an opportunity than fans in other states. You should be happy you are that close and have the opportunities to see them. I am flying to a game from boston this season. Want to guess how much that's costing me?
To hear people won't go b/c of the drive is a poor excuse to say the least. I went to the f***ing snowball game in foxboro in snow past my waist, to sit with a bunch of pats fans. I couldn't even tell you how long it took me getting home that game. 4 hours driving to a game in florida is heaven in comparison, believe me.

I just started to build my new house, so unfortunately i couldn't renew my Dolphins season tickets:cry:...but I resent those who call us fans in south florida fairweathered or lazy.... I actually reworked the budget for my knew house to I could buy 2 of the 4 for $180 tickets and I'll be there on SUnday rain or shine.... So those who are downing DolFans should not generalize there statments.... shoot I have 5 cousins that are diehard DolFans & they attend EVERY SINGLE GAME & they live in Key West...thats about a 2 hour drive every sunday....

$100 not being expensive is all relative to your situation. If you have the money to fly around the country to watch a game I highly doubt you would understand that.

So you can't afford to spend $100 once a year???...

I'm sorry too. It's a shame that these fans who live within driving distance wont show up on opening day, and then all they can do is complain about not being able to watch it on TV....

unfortunally my faincial situation are in the negatives right now I cant afford lunch let alone pay go to the game :(

Not at the moment no. I'm the only income provider in my house while my fiance attends college, and last week she blew the head gasket on her car, so now I get to buy her another one.

I never complained about not being able to see it on tv and I can understand your frustation there. I was just trying to point out reasons why people don't go. It really is too expensive for alot of people.

But truth be told if the game isn't on tv. I will be there even if I have to put the tickets on my credit card. I just rather not have to. :)

Im am not rich, believe me. to get to florida and back is about $160 then tickets....my friend lives in fort myers so I don't have to pay for a room...so to me a mini vaca at less than 400 I can swing to see my team play. It's worth it to me....it SHOULD be worth it to you for some games at least....

The point is that you should do what you can sometimes to support your team. If that means driving 4 hours....or maybe cutting back a little at times then do it. It's truly embarrasses me when I hear these games don't sell out. It's sad that most fans close are just lazy.....that's what it seems you are.....Im sure you could get the money together for a game or 2.

You won't though.
