Why Do I Feel Like The Dolphins Are Going To Win Monday Night?

I just hope that if we lose, the fan base doesn't panic, the first game does not define the season
 
i dont know why ppl act like the pats are invinciable. they havnt won a playoff game in some time. and the jets have their number pretty much. we can beat this team.
 
Any team can win any game so beating the Pats is not unthinkable. Opening night on national TV at home, playing a team that they quit against their last game, hopefully a hot and humid evening, unveiling a new offense, they have a lot to prove to themselves and the rest of the NFL and its followers. Win or lose I think it is going to be a damn good competetive game.
 
First quarter will tell us everything, I believe. If Patriots move the ball with ease, it may be a tough night.

Well I feel like if I'm all in the phins are gonna win, and stuff doesn't go our way, I will throw **** and raise my blood pressure to levels it shouldn't be at. If I make myself think we are going to lose, and have a chance to win, the chances of throwing **** and raising my blood pressure to dangerous levels, is less likely to happen.

Yeah. We're all fans and wanna be optimistic lol, naturally. But remember, the Patriots are a great team. I'm just helping their db churning hurts them
 
This is going to be a very tough game but the Pats arent unbeatable. They spanked us last year. So we should use that as motivation. As long as we stay focused and play to our stengths the phins will be fine.
 
I think defensively this game is going to come down to how well we can cover. The Patriots thrive on short passes and the underneath stuff. Key match ups will be Benny Sapp vs. Wes Welker and burnett and our linebackers vs. their tightends. Davis and Smith will surely take care of the outside receivers. I think their short passes will take Wake and our pass rush out of the game. Also, one of our biggest strengths, stopping the run, will also be minimized considering the patriots rarely run. I really think we are capable of stopping their offense but it seems to be a lot question marks.

Offensively we have to attack their secondary. They don't have a pass rush, but they have a stout, run stopping Dline. The last time we beat them, we did it on the arm of Chad Henne. I think he had around 300 yards or so. We need similar production. Marshall vs McCourtey is a matchup I like Marshall in. I wouldn't be surprised though if they put McCourtey on Hartline to take him out of the game, and then double marshall. Our best hope on offense is to get Bess matched up with their linebackers and get Reggie Bush in space. The key to us winning this game is really being able to move the ball through the air.

This game is very winnable, but we need some things to go our way. How well are Burnett and Dansby going to be able to cover those tight ends and Woodhead? Can Chad Henne take advantage of their sub par secondary? Does our special teams play like they deserve to be in the NFL? If those things go our way, there's no reason we can't win.

The media doesn't look at the matchups, they say Patriots win 14 games every year, Dolphins usually suck.. I pick the Patriots. On paper, this is a very winnable game.
 
If the Jets have the Pats number, what do the Pats have of the Fins? The Pats have averaged close to 13 wins a year for the decade. Have the fins won 13 games over the decade?
 
We've switched off wins with the Jets, so that's them having our number?
