What are ppl thinking? yes daboll is more aggressive, yes reggie bush is a good receiver but lets be real here, if you aint got a running game your offense is going to be seriously gimped. We acquired 2 high cost running backs in the offseason and ppl think we wont be running the ball? since when did chad henne become peyton manning? Time for ppl to wake and smell the coffee beans, we are running the rock heavily, no matter how good off a receiver reggie bush is.

Another issue, we release lousaka polite and all the sudden we no longer need a full back because of dabolls style of offense according to some FH members. Could it not be possible that charles clay has shown some good blocking and has shown he is capable of being our starting FB. Lousaka was great for us but got old fast. Unless we have a peyton manning back there i dont see why ppl think we are running colts type offense out there. Ludacris.

we have clay and hilliard for fb. in this new offense we will be spreading it out alot more. i didnt like the move ether but we will be fine.

thats fine, we can spread it out all we want, but that doesnt mean we cant run the ball either. Hell we can switch it up every drive.

colombo and carey arent offensive lineman because they struggled in one preseason game? give me a break.

Your first paragraph is a pure straw man argument.

Your second ignores that Clay really didn't look all that good in preseason as a lead blocker, which makes sense because he didn't look at that good at Tulsa as a lead blocker. Not every offense uses a lead blocker on all or most of their running plays. The Patriots don't use one at all. Neither do the Colts. I don't think the Falcons do, either. It turns out neither will we. Or at least we won't use one very much. Doesn't mean we can't/won't run the football.

We'll run the ball, but Miami is gonna rely more on the short passing game . . . pretty much how Tom Brady does it. Why run the ball, when you can check it down for 7 yards.

exactly what did you see in preseason vs starting defenses that are not the worst team in the NFL that makes you believe this oline can runblock...

why acquire 2 highly priced running backs in the offseason if you arent going to run the ball? thats retarded. We could have spent picks elsewhere if that was the case, it just doesnt add up.

Watching the preseason games lead me to believe we will be throwing the ball a lot more this year.

Who says we aren't going to run the ball?
