Lol don't get all butthurt bro. You keep trying to push this move the team out of south florida agenda that you and maybe a couple of other yahoos believe in. Might I ask where you think we should move this team oh great and wise masterdebator.
San Antonio. but ive already said as much many times over.
Bottom line.
There will never ever be a 12th man in Miami.
Miami, no matter how good we become, is disrespected as a football town. The hurricanes cant even get the stadium half filled and they are highly ranked and its college ball with student body!!!
If we are disrespected, then you can count on officiating, league rules, making sure we never get anywhere. Then Jonathan Martin walks out because at least he understands the world is on his side because you guessed it.....were the Miami Dolphins.
Cleveland Browns fans get respect. They get respect because no matter how much they suck, they show up.
Couple of things to point out. The location of the stadium is not ideal it's in the middle of nowhere, Cleveland's stadium is in there metro(ish) area. If a new stadium was put in a better spot like the original orange bowl location you'd see a major difference. UM is like 20 minutes away from sunlife and a pro stadium it's to big for the canes you put that stadium near coral gables and it's packed every Saturday. San Antonio?!? are you kidding? The San Antonio dolphins? That doesn't even make sense. I bet you want a name change too then. Something like the San Antonio sharks ohhhh and we can wear black and silver, to look more aggressive. Not gonna happen.
Ireland is responsible for producing a winner. He hasnt done that. Its time to move on. Everybody, unless your Mueller, gets a certain amount of time.
But Ireland had an excellent offseason. No one can deny that and playing hindsight 20-20 is garbage.
Keller injury hurt hus. Gibson was a great pickup. injured.
he got Grimes and patterson. Anyone want to bitch about this? ok injuries to patterson, but Ireland cannot control that once again.
He brought younger LB's here for actually cheaper than Dansby/Bennett over the long haul. Wheeler sucks at tackling so hindsight 20-20 again.
He jumped up to get Dion Jordan. I still think this is a great move. He was not sold on the Oklahoma Tackle. anyone else? All the rookies on this team are kept at bay by the coaches. Its their philosophy.
We have Wilson and Matthews who are key players now who were late round picks. Carroll and Jones were 5th round picks. Pretty good value there.
Odrick is proving his draft status minus first year injury.
Pouncey was worth the 15th pick in the draft. RT is a good QB over time. He needs a good OL in order to succeed as well as Lamar Miller.
Ireland has some bad moves too. Daniel Thomas was not worth what we gave up but at least he learned his lesson with gettin lamar in 4th round. Egnew is 3rd rounder, he is coming along but it will be too late or not worth in the end by the time his contract is up.
Jeff Ireland is hated mostly becuase of "momma a prosititute?". Now Jonathan Martin is a very large stain on this franchise and he used a 2nd round pick on him. He set us back in many ways. This is why he should be gone in the end here. He was not a Philbin guy to begin with and went along with owners wishes. I think its just time for him to move on. Quite frankly, I dont see anyone else coming in here and doing better unless they get lucky with some star player falling to us. There is alot of luck involved too.
Have you ever been to south Florida? Did you have a bad trip down here or something and now are judging an entire city on one personal experience? The stadium was rocking in the Marino days and even for a while after, and the orange bowl forget about it, best crowd in sports in its day. How can you say the people of miami would miss the team less than the people of Cleveland that's a really stupid statement with no fact behind it. So you think moving a team from south florida, a huge that spans multiple counties and tens of millions of people to a city in Texas with a population. Under 2 million makes any sense from a business standpoint. It's more than asses in stadium seats, it's merchandise local patterns and a whole plethora of other things beyond ticket sales. Also what does miami having a lot of Hispanics have anything to do with anything, there are many Hispanic fans of the team, myself included .
Jeff Ireland the Teflon GM. Its never his fault
