Even though Miami has been in close games, they've really been worlds away from winning them between the ears and inside their chests. They honestly believe, deep inside, that they don't deserve to win. They start games and their talent shines and they get leads, or go on a good run within a game. But when the pressure hits late, they fold up like a wet fridge box, Starting with the coaches. There's ZERO real confidence inside these players hearts. Zero confidence in their coaches, zero confidence in their teammates and zero confidence in themselves to make plays when they absolutely have to be made. It's in their collective subconscious. This is what losing does. It's exponential. It snowballs and it's all-consuming.
They need new coaches, like, Yesterday! Philbin rubs people the wrong way and this was evident just watching Hard Knocks. What a shame that every bad feeling I got about this coaching staff from H K has been validified by what has happened since. The Miami Dolphins have excelled at losing in a way that betrays their talent level.
I like Tannehill, but he did learn how to lose with Sherman at A&M. It's a losing combination that again betrays incredible physical talent. The fact Sherman got FIRED from a college gig would give pause to any owner with a Brain or a heart. I doubt Ross has a heart and must be apathetic about our team. No one who cares would agree to hire a LOSER like Sherman. Seriously, he's a PROVEN loser. Proven. Loser.
Such a shame to waste the talent that we do have.
