why not build around matt moore...

I'll keep this simple:

Chad Henne just freakin blows and the Phins won no games with him at the helm this year.

Matt Moore played pretty well and won some good games with him at the helm this year.

Dolphins should dump Henne and look for some legitimate competition for Moore, and draft whomever they feel has some talent to play in this league.

That is the only way to go, and i believe the way they will go.

GO PHINS~!

Ahh, in classic FH tradition, the love affair with a backup QB continues. From Feely to Fiedler, to visions of Kolb, clamoring for Orton, wishing for Quinn.

It's a beautiful thing.

don't omit Matt Flynn

PS Tom Brady was a back up to Drew Bledsoe until he got injured. Marino backed up Wood / Strock.

In the past, Qb's spent some time on the bench as back ups before they actually got a chance to start.

Only now in the enlightened era of Madden, do QB's fall out of a tree and start from the moment of conception.

Sheesh...

The problem with having a game manager is that the margin of error for the rest of the team is very small. A franchise quarterback covers up so many weak areas of your team and can overcome mistakes by the rest of the team. A true franchise QB makes your team better. I'd rather have it that way than having an entire team trying to make the QB better.

I am sure everyone here at Finheaven agrees with your post...except NYJUNCT

Yep..good point.

I am hoping the Fins draft a rookie, keep Moore and have them battle it out. I personally want RG3, as I believe he is a real winner with a lot of talent. I am sure many will disagree and that is fine, but the point here is that the Fins have failed on all their QB picks since Marino and they are due for a break in the draft.

Ah, the versatile Tom Brady exception, except when it becomes a rule of convenience. Can always be played both ways! How come that didn't work for Rohan Davey a fellow LSU alumnus who was Brady's grasshopper and actually drafted in the 4th round?

So if we're talking about where exceptions become argument winning rules, how about: Warner bagging groceries, Romo was undrafted, UFA DelHomme into the SB, Warren Moon and Flutie went to Canada.. and so forth and so on when it comes to Moore. Oh did I mention Jeff Garcia?

I don't play Madden but I also know that QBs and UFAs like Arian Foster, James Harrison and Wes Welker don't fall out of trees either - :idk:

We got lucky with our token UFA already. His name is Wes Welker and we promptly traded him to NE after stealing him off waivers when San Diego blew that call.
