Will the real Matt Roth please stand up ?

Dont be to quick to judge matt right now.He has very good veterans to take info from and learn from them.He has jason taylor,vonnie holiday,and kevin carter.Matt roth will be a beast.:)

At this point in JTs rookie camp, he was already making noise, not getting manhandled, Boom or Bust?

No he wasn't. The most noise Jason made in rookie camp was the issue about if he could put on more weight.

He did get manhandled more than a few times. He was just as raw.
 
I aint judging Matt, I said it all along, he is very talented, but will be JT's replacement. He can only play the RE. He will be very good once he gets to that position. Until then, he will be really of no use. I'm not even going to injuries, because I dont even want to think it, when it comes to him.
 
Just remember that Saban must have seen something he liked in Roth. Iowa played
LSU in the Capital One Bowl so you know Saban watched a lot of film leading up to that game. Give the kid time, and see what happens.
 
This year I see him as being a run down LE and a 3-4 DE since the 1st thing everyone says when describing him is that "he plays with power". So this season he learns other tricks other than a bull-rush, just like JT learned more and more other than staight-up speed rushes every down. Now JT is one of the best run defending DEs also.

Is that draft looking not so stellar yet? Was it still the best the Phins ever had? Your words, not mine. Remember, I said good talent draft, but a bad draft. Didnt help this team one bit this year. Has it yet? Couldnt count on Daniels, had to sign Shulters. Roth aint that stud LE or SS LB you all hoped. Wheres Ronnie? Channing? Like I said, Channing will have the most benefit this season for us. But, he wasn't needed all that much. Replacement for Zach.

This is typical of mindless ramblings that destroy good message boards. The rookies have been in camp for a few weeks, we haven't even played a preseason game yet and Limpo here is yelling at the top of his lungs DRAFT BUST!

What a fool.
These guys are rookies and are just getting started.
Have you been to a camp to even see what Roth is doing?
Of course you haven't, you just come onto a message board to try and feel good about yourself by beating on your chest. Sad really.
