Would like to see how we compare in terms of drop pass rate. Total drops are a little misconstrued if certain teams pass the ball more than others.

Drops are like errors — they are one metric but not the most important one.

I remember that on the play before Joe Montana threw the game winning TD in the SB to Taylor, he threw an absolutely bone-headed pass right to a defender who dropped it.

Nobody likes to see dropped passes, but I would rather deal with a wr that drops 6 or 7 passes a season than to have a wr that makes the wrong read and runs the wrong route 6 or 7 times. Nobody ever post a misread coverage stat, but when the qb expects you to be here and you're running there, that leads to ints.
