Would you consider trading for Blackmon?

Isn't he one screw up away from a year long suspension? I would have to say no we have been down that road.

I agree, besides, I like what Miami will have next year at receiver and TE. Miami could be very tough to defend Passing wise at the very least next year.

Calvin Johnson
Dez Bryant
Julio Jones
Roddy White
Victor Cruz
Wes Welker
Andre Johnson
Reggie Wayne
TY Hilton
Justin Blackmon
AJ Green
Antonio Brown
Mike Wallace
Demarius Thomas
Dwyane Bowe
Keenan Allen
Torrey Smith
Josh Gordon
Desean Jackson
Pierre Garcon
Larry Fitzgerald
Michael Crabtree
Brandon Marshall
Alshon Jeffery
Randall Cobb
Jordy Nelson
Cordarelle Patterson
Vincent Jackson
Percy Harvin

This is me leaving a lot of names out. ie Steve Smith James Jones Greg Jennings Eric Decker

Top 10 are you high??? Lol

Hartline is sooooo overrated by Dolphins fans. Any decent #2 should explode with Wallace on the other side of the field. Hartline can't separate, he has great hands, but he can't separate, no YAC, hes average. Way overpaid.

Disagree, he may not be a top 10 receiver, but he is one of the best #2 receiver out there, and now that Tannehill and Wallace are slowly starting to get in sync, he is going to be a very tough coverage assignment for most DB.

He also can't stay on his feet. He's gotten better this year, but he still falls over a lot for no apparent reason.

Sort that link by YAC and you'll see only 7 WR lead in YAC and only 3 would be considered top 10

How much of the cap space do you pour into the WR position?

As for Blackmon, I was a huge fan of his while he was down in Stillwater. But his inability to grow up at the pro level should be a worrisome trend. When the HoneyBadger can come into the league, and perform at a high level (sorry for the pun), and not revert to his old ways. It should give pause to those advocating giving up a draft pick, and allocating cap space to a position that isn't a need. Give this team a seam threat TE and some offensive stalwarts on the offensive line, with the continued development of Tannehill, and something special could be had here.

This is all a big hypothetical for those advocating for such a move. And is based more on CandyLand theory than NFL week 1 reality.

Except he is within 200 yards of everyone you just mentioned and he already had 1K season without Wallace and a rookie QB Save it

Whats even worse your comparing him to #1's and he is a 2 and he is still getting his

You said he is a top 10 WR - hes not. He is a nice complimentary receiver. This team still doesn't have a legit #1 WR, Wallace is not a complete player that does a lot of stuff well.

Wondering, who would you say is GB #1 wr?

Exactly his numbers are comparable to any #1 WR what more does his resume need to add? It's only his 5th year the top 10 have almost a decade under their belt and he is hanging with them at what point or objective does he need to obtain to get the recognition he deserves? You want to add Blackmon over him? Over Gibson? Over Matthews? What had Blackmon done other than disgrace himself that he even deserves consideration? What talent has he shown that our own WR's haven't shown themselves?

LOL at people calling him human garbage. The guy smokes a little weed. It's not like he is beating his wife/girlfriend or getting DUI's left and right. He's sitting on his couch playing ****ing video games. Hell the majority of the US population thinks this law is a joke and prohibition on it should be ended immediately. 10 years from now everyone will laugh about marijuana suspensions in the NFL because it will be legal in every state once they see the tax revenue it brings to Colorado and Washington. I don't even want to mention the waste of resources and tax dollars used to try and stop the use/growth of weed in this country. Hell there are already central American countries (Uruguay) legalizing it because they see what the cartels have done to their county and they want the murders and organized crime to stop. Marijuana being illegal is a joke and a war the government has already lost, knows it has lost, yet won't admit because of how it being illegal fills the pockets of their biggest donators.

This is all true and you should be commended on your progressive view. But is Blackmon better than any of our current WR's?

Regardless of whether you agree or disagree that smoking a little weed is a big issue, in the NFL, right now, it is. He is one joint away from a season on the bench maybe even worse.

Blackmon has a lot of talent, and isn't going to come cheap. Period. Best case scenario is Jacksonville moves on, cuts him, and we scoop him for the low to give em a test ride.
