No, not tonight, only on weekends. lol However, I have been re-watching games for 10 years and focus on our OL. I can absolutely guarantee that Martin was better than McKinnie this past year, no doubt about it.

Yeah, they did in the heat of the moment. Think any may have changed their minds with some time to reflect? I do.

Time to reflect on how Martin quit on them and then threw them under the bus amid a media crap storm?

Martin has yet to reach out to any of his teammates to begin to put out some of the fires he created.

If you have any kind of statistical analysis to back up that claim please let me know. I actually am willing to be open minded about it,

Otherwise, all I know is that the guy got moved from left tackle to right tackle and then to the bench. After that the offensive line actually improved somewhat.

Jeebus, the guy was an absolute disaster on the field last year. You bring him back the rest of the team will basically have to be like Kramer with Lloyd Braun after he gets out of the mental institution.

If JM were Lloyd Braun then the media would be George's parents, right?

McKennie had grades of -8.9 overall, -5.1 on the pass giving up 7 sacks, 9 hits and 23 hurries in half a year, and -8.2 n the run. Martin was -6.9 overall, -3 on the pass giving up 7 sacks, 7 hits, and 15 hurries, and -5.5 on the run.

Not any big difference but, one guy was developing, and the other should be retiring.

Interesting. But still like bragging about being the valedictorian of summer school.

If you ever played any kind of team sport, you would know that if someone quits on your team, he is a worthless human being and should be tarred and feathered or worse. Then, a little time passes, and you do have second thoughts on what happened and why, and you somewhat understand.

Ya still don't like it but, you no longer hate it. JMO

True but, it was what you asked for. Again, one guy developing who may turn into something, and the other over and done. Martin may turn into a solid OT, a VG swing backup, or a good OG. Don't know but, chances are that he will if he goes to another team..

martin is a soft weak player, one of the worst turnstiles i have ever witnessed. i'm no guru but he fails the eye ball test. only way he turns into a solid ot is if he plays in the lingerie football league

Are you basing your opinion on his giving up 7 sacks or the other 451 plays he played? As I recall, Martin did go to the farm to get stronger, at his own expense, which he did in the off season. For me, that does not sound like a guy giving up on his team.

Having developed a pretty reliable BS detection meter based on many years of having pretty smart people, who wanted something, lying to me, I thought and still believe that Martin is largely full of ****. Now that doesn't exonerate Richie, but some here are looking at it as an "either/or" proposition, or even better, "Black and White" (not the racial connotation) when most everyone knows that the reality lies in the 90% gray matter in between.. i.e.I reject the notion that if Richie is wrong, Martin has to be right. Uh uh.

As such, while I do believe that Martin is a sickie, and probably some of that is attributable to his controlling mommy, and that he's exhibited a number of the alienation, resentment, drug abuse, related symptoms that have made others go postal hurting co-workers, I really don't have much sympathy for him. As a result, I am voting (in my own poll) that his baggage and present reputation coupled with the kind of spotlight that's shined on a team if he's signed (big If) combines to be too much agita to handle for a non-starter. While I don't think he's anywhere good enough to be a dependable player, he is probably better than some of our other scrubbies but he's just too toxic for the team to be within 100 zipcodes of.
