Your move, mr.hickey

Unless I'm wrong (highly possible) the Pats only have about $5.5 million in cap space after signing Revis. Can they afford Browner?

wilfork is 11.5mil against the cap. he'll have to restructure. if not, he may be traded or released...

I know Decker put up all those touchdowns the last two years but he was the Broncos third WR with a Hall Of Fame quarterback having career seasons throwing him the ball. Now he has Geno Smith throwing to him(or attempting to throw to him) and he is the #1 WR. IMO, you put Grimes on him he becomes a non-factor.

Decker is making more money now than Brian Hartline, can you honestly say Decker is a better player? I don't think so.

He will miss Manning big time.

That was my thought too. Revis is better than Talib, but not by miles. And Revis eats up $12 million of Patriot cap space meaning there is one fewer substantial free agent they can sign than if they signed a cornerback like Verner. Opportunity cost.

I agree completely, the Pats have been a good team. I don't see Decker as that much of an upgrade over a healthy Santonio Holmes. As long as the Jets and Bills don't go out and revamp their teams, I'm not worried. I still think we have a good chance in the division as it is.

you guys crack me up w/ the Decker hate. if he signed in Miami you'd be telling me how great he is. The man produced w/ tim Tebow and Kyle Orton as his QBs in 2011 and has been getting better and better. Is he a #1? No but how many true #'s are out there? he significantly upgrades our offense and it's just the start of moves to improve the talent around our young, developing QB who badly outplayed your young QB in Ryan's biggest game of his career. You guys had a 2 year window to move past us, you failed and we are once again the main challenger to NE.

Definite upgrade for you but that's not saying much. You are going to need a #1 wr for Decker to have any significant impact.

Revis is an upgrade for the Pats just when they need him. See Talib playing in the playoffs....you'll have to look close, he's usually on the sidelines. The Pats-Broncos AFC championship was 3-0 Denver in the 2nd period until Talib got hurt. Revis, other than one year, plays hurt and doesn't get 'injured'.

Question for the Pats is....can Amendola/Vereen/Gronkowski stay healthy or not? NE now has to make some moves to fill some other holes as they don't have much money left. Wilfork will get cut if he doesn't restructure, they have no center on the roster, and a couple JAG's at defensive tackle(although I do like Joe Vellano) if they do cut Wilfork and or Tommy Kelly.

Decker with Geno Smith at QB doesn't scare me. The Jets really need to look at Vick, even if its just to push Geno during camp and the rest of the offseason.

I have no fear of Revis like some of you.

I love the fact he (Revis) is in NE. He ties up cash, has an attitude, and although still very good he isn't what he was 4 years ago. The Pats had trouble stopping the run more than pass. If I'm Lazor/Philbin I'm creating a package of T-hill using his legs plays for the Pats. I also think it puts a guy like Tre Mason on the draft radar if he wasn't there.

Decker is WAY better than Hartline. Not even close.

I give the Jets credit...... With the talent they had on the roster last year they did SUPER IMO. But let's not get beside ourselves here who has the better roster Miami or the Jets? Be honest (like you sometimes do) Miami's roster is much more talented then the Jets. Geno had an up and down year last year sometimes looking promising some time looking completely lost. So again be honest, do you really think Decker is going to be that much of a factor with Geno? Answer we don't know. Most likley not witht eh growing pains of a young QB. It doesn't matter who the reciever is. Hell replace Decker with megatron and the production would be similar. It is not Decker does not have control over his production. Geno does. Same here in Miami. Wallace was the same player that he was in Pitt. Tanny missed him a lot. Wallace did not produce as much as he should have. Same for Decker.

I do agree with you that Decker is a solid WR. But he also isn't an elite number 1 WR. Wouldn't mind him on the Fins though.

Yeah, lets all hinge on one game, to determine Geno Smith is better than Ryan Tannehill. No other body of work matters. Just one game. lmao what joke.
