Honestly i am one of the people that thinks that Miami fans overrate Zach Thomas. The media doesnt really get into it too much, but Miami fans talk about him like hes a god...IMO hes weak in coverage and weak in blitzing(yes he got a sack last night) u cant judge him on the one game. From what ive seen and IMO when it comes to winter he misses alot of tackles to go with his coverage and blitzing. I love the guy, how can u not with his heart and desire on the field i just think Miami fans as a whole overrate him.

Stan, your observations don't exactly jive with NFL scouts. Zach is a very good coverage linebacker. In Miami's defense he's usually responsible for covering the other team's TB out of the backfield. He is not used much in blitzes, so his blitzing ability is possibly below that of many middle linebackers. As far as running sideline to sideline--there is none better.
