Thanks rvicious, yeah I was thinking about leaving out the lose to N.E...but thought I should keep that in there so people would know what happened that season and that it wasn't Ricky's fault....

Exactly my thought, did you really have to include the New England game? Man that was one of the worst games I have ever watched, right up their with the jets meltdown and the playoff blowout against Jax.
 
Great compilation; thanks. BTW, did anyone else notice how many times Rob Conrad's name was mentioned? What a great lead blocker! Where is he now, and who do we have to replace him?

I was at the game and ill never forget it...about fiedler...if you were there you'd know just how loud it was, there was no way in hell he could communicate well with his teammates cuz everyone in the entire stadium of 77,000 was stomping as hard as they could...the "bronco thunder" and fiedler broke his finger and still lead us back within the final seconds for a FG...

Sorry if somebody else has posted already but he hasnt lost a step since the 2002 season. Hes apparently supossed to be in the best shape of his life...

My favorite video was the 2002 Pro Bowl Video where Ricky, JT, Zach, and Booker are all playing in it!! Ricky scored 2 TD's and JT/ZT both caught INT's! It was dominated by Miami players...very fun to watch...but before you do that listen to what I think about our 07 season and just how great it could be!

...you guys do realize just how much POTENTIAL we have right?

We missed the playoffs in the past because of bad coaching...and a terrible QB over the years, alot of the pro bowl players over the years are still with us today (minus our CBs).. we have made excellent additions with Joey Porter an the Draft and have a coaching staff that is among the best in the NFL. The offensive mind of Cam Cameron, the DEF coord. who was responcible for the Panthers amazing D, the OL coach who made San Diego a top5 rushing off. every year...we have so many vets who have been to so many pro bowls...imagine if we get trent green...thatd be 5 of the players who were in the 02 Pro bowl on our team...we'd have depth at QB like weve never had before...and a QB mentor in Cam...IMO it all comes down to Ricky whether or not were a true playoff contender...after watching that video it just makes so much sense!! Ricky is a between the tackle/guard RB...he uses his speed that way, apparently hes in great shape!!! We have our north/south runner in Ronnie...a speedy jukie 3rd option back in Lorenzo who will compliment ricky well in that hes also an angle back. Add Chambers/Booker/Ted Ginn./Hagan to the mix and you have ALOT to worth with. Not to mention Martin/Mauia for extra redzone options. Need I mention our DEF???? We must keep Ricky because he makes our offense a NONSTOP force...so much durability and endurance with those 3 backs...with that trio teams will HAVE to respect the run and leave big play potential in the air we havnt had since 05, but Cam executing the gameplan...i can see alot of trick plays used too with all the speed at our disposal, Chambers/Ginn/Ricky/Lorenzo...it has all come together and we have hope on our OL like weve never had before!! A young QB prospect who is a student of the game who could take over who knows when...he has the arm of marino (strength wise) and is a very accurate passer, he seems like a perfect fit for Cam's style and does anyone see a Ben Roethlisburger type of maturity??? This guy could be our starter next year if everything clicks...I am stoked for 07.

Back to Ricky, we MUST KEEP HIM! 700,000 dollars is a steal for that kind of talent and what he brings to our offense that already has alot of potential without him...his teammates have said they WANT HIM BACK! Listen to your vets cam/randy! Now go watch the 05 highlights of ricky and compare them with 02...youll see he was the same exact back and never lost a step...add Ronnie and Lorenzo to that mix and thats just nasty...we must keep him!

If Ricky can ever get back to that 2002-2003 form, this team could be playoff contenders. With Brown and Ricky that duo would be crazy. Not to mention Lo Book and Chatman. Also anyone with me, and want Ricky to grow the dreads back?

Ronnie would have had a year Like that if he was to stay Healthy all year maybe even better

Hard to believe that was 5 years ago already. Thanks for making the videos. I remember 2002 was the year JT also led the league in sacks and we didn't make the playoffs.
 
That was fun to watch, love part one when he stiff arms the KC db and lifts him and throws him like 5 yards. Favorite ricky moment, one of the best stiff arms ever.

Ricky was a force in '02.
But that was 6 years ago. Ricky will never regain that form, and even if he did you still have to deal with the possibility that he will flake out/get banned. If you are praying to the Running Back Gods to smile upon the Dolphins, you would probably be much better served to pray that Ronnie Brown can stay healthy or that the Phins hit upon a diamond in the rough in this year's draft.
Its too bad Ricky only lasted a few carries this season...if he had shown something we might have been able to get something for him in a trade. IMO thats the only way Ricky could help the Phins.

Ricky's hairstyle would have no impact on his running ability or trade value so I'm all for Ricky wearing his hair in any way he wants.

edit: all that said, for nostalgia's sake those are great video clips. Good Job.
