Bring JT back? What do you think?

Would you bring JT back as a FA and with a reasonable contract?

I just dont understand the hatred for JT on these boards.

All this calling him dancing queen etc.

He gave his heart and osul to this franchise and made countless big plays for this team for years. Its not his fault the offense couldn't do anything for years or the secondary was in the buisness of letting wr slip past them in crucial moments.

Just think of all the good he brought.

I still said no because I feel that JT, ZT, CC and the rest of those ugys are behind us ad we need to move forward in the new direction.

Hell no. He would be one expensive 3rd down pass rushing specialist/backup OLB.

Personally, I think Jason burned too many bridges last offseason. He made it clear that under no circumstance did he want to play for Miami. All that crap from Dancing with the Stars went to his head. Jt will go down as one of, if not the best defensive end in Dolphins history, but as far as I am concerned, his career as a Dolphin is history as well.

Parcells is in the business of Collecting Good Players, dont put anything past him if the price is right, and oh btw we will be picking before the Dedskins in the upcoming 2nd or 3rd Rd (Trade Pick with Skins) i believe of the 09 Draft, LMFAO at how Parcells is already out witting his counterparts around the league, WE ARE IN GOOD HANDS, fellas.
Alright Miami!!!

ill take him back, he is a fin by heart, if he can still play and wants to be a fin

he thought that the fins would be bad this year just like alot of us

he will retire as a fin and i will most likely attend at his hall of fame induction

SHIP = SAILED

I like JT, he played well for us, but he is just not the same guy. Besides, he was so eager to go play for a contender, and now that we have had some success he wants to come back? Uh, NO.

It would be like a girlfriend leaving because she says you can't provide for everything she wants, but then calling you up after she finds out you won the lottery.

I dont remember hearing anything from Taylor that he wanted back in Miami.I know the article and interview mentioned in this thread says nothing regarding Taylor
wanting to return. Are you making this up or did you see this somewhere else??

i would bring him back, **** happens fustration, miscomunication and so on, but if he signs for a very low sallery i say why not... can you imagine JP and JT on each side or on the same side rushing the QB... unstopable i say....

Too bad he was around when we had the best secondary possibly ever.

I love when people make excuses for our former players, then they go elsewhere and are just as bad. CC never had a QB, its not JT or Zachs fault the secondary sucked...but I digress

JT was once a great player, but it ended the year after Saban left, when he moved him around as an OLB and he had an MVP year...But what a difference 2 years make. The dancing queen statements are well founded. He decided to jump on his acting career, after our worst season...instead of waiting until retirement, and try to get our team back on track to winning. He's done in Miami, no way BP thinks of bringing him back unless its for the vet min (even then its questionable) ...and JT's head is way to big for that.

JT doesn’t fit our scheme,,,,,,,,he’s not a 3-4 type of guy. I would take him back, but he can’t play line backer. “Zach in a heart beat”!!!

No of course not...the 2006 DPOY playing at OLB in the 3-4, can't play that position to save his life... *slaps head*.:err:

Where will it end .... Surtain, Maybe Marino, Madison, Hadnot, Cox, Armstrong ....

Let's appreciate those guys for what they've done in the past for us but let's leave them in the past.

He doesn't want to go back to washington. This is just his way of starting that change. He's a D-O-G...

Notice how he NEVER, I mean absolutely NEVER says anything about retiring anymore or his post-football careeer.

I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if he never makes a single movie as anything other than an extra.

As for the hatred, I don't hate him. He was never one of my favorite fin players. I liked Zach and Surtain. I remember seeing a little clip of him on that dancing show and I almost tossed my cookies.

JT is a loser....look at his playoff stats....totally pathetic....then the dolphins go 1 and 15 and for us long time fans it was the darkest time in Dolphin history....totally brutal....and what does JT do in our time of need....acts like a total jerk...shuns the program.....goes hollywood....does nothing in the off season....demands to be traded....when the chips were down he ran away like a total loser...he is now getting exactly what he deserves.....thank god for the dedication and perserverance of the coaching staff and the players that stuck around....that that things are turning around there should be no place for losers like JT....besides...I am sure Washington needs his 8 tackles and 1 1/2 sacks for $8 MM......hahaha
